Also Doom 3 always had a resident evil 4/creepy mid 2000’s horror games vibe to it plus that 2000’s 3d graphics just adds to the creepiness

So Doom 3 is a reimagining of Doom 1-2, and Doom(2016) is inspired by Doom 3(makes sense) also why dont ppl make more of this types of games that has you battling and gunning enemies

Doom 2016 is a reimagining but also soft reboot of doom 1 which is why spidermastermind is the final boss again for 2016 yet it also is a sequel

Doom 3 was brought down by the fact that they tried to make a horror game with lots of action in it. If it was a separate title then it'd be a decent game, but it isn't Doom.

They should've ramped up the music during heavy action segments to give it that doom vibe and have other parts be more horror focused could've worked well

I was born in 1982 and the graphics in Doom were amazing back in 1993/94.. there was nothing else remotely like it at the time

doom (1993) is not the real trailer as doom (1993) did not have revenants and was way to high quality while doom 2 had loads of film grain.

I know that, that's why I haven't written anywhere 'official'. The original game hasn't been planned on having a trailer, so the fan base has made up one. After all, we are the core that keeps the game alive. :)

Yes, the first one is fan-made, it still counts as a trailer, I haven't mentioned anywhere "official", mods are used in order to make trailers if they aren't present, the community is as responsible as the devs are, also, vfr is an official thing
