I cut open the drum, got the drum repaired with a steel spider and fitted it back the same day, also replaced the 2 bearings. Working as good as new now, for almost 2 months.

Methalyn blue in a hospital tank, anyone with fin rot should go into one for a few weeks at least, let them heal and fight the infection. I just lost one of my Cory boys due to fin rot, life got chaotic and I hadn't paid close enough attention. I feel terrible, and will NEVER take a fish out of the hospital tank again until it's 100% better. That bacteria is NASTY, and I'm sure it also killed one of my new Khuli loaches, he was new and didn't look so hot to begin with, grew tons of white fuzz SUPER fast after dying, was nightmare fuel quite honestly. And YES, even though they have scutes instead of scales, Cory's CAN go in Methalyn blue.
