Great video! Interesting to see there's an assault rifle category. Young dude at 1.27 looks like he has a Parker Hale 1200 tx. Hoping to get one of these m'self!

Bit unlucky for the bloke at 1:45 who didn't check if he had left it on full auto 😅

Love the idea of aerial footage! Maybe next time we can have audio from the ground of the shooting, or maybe a sports highlights-style video mixing the drone footage with footage and audio from the ground. Keep these videos coming, NRAUK 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

It has always amused me that the United Kingdom has such strict firearms laws, but a 13 year old can fire a fully automatic Light Support Weapon in theory. I also notice that the common point with most adult Instructors are very over weight. I presume they do not have to do a fitness test ?
@markpurcell93684 жыл бұрын
Yes we have strict laws for fire arms but in the cadets (sea,air, army or combined cadet force) you can learn to shoot but you need to be 13 or over and you need to do training on the weapon such as how to assemble, disassemble and clean the rifle then you do a weapons handling test where a qualified assessor watches and tells you to do stuff with the rifle such as get down and act like your shooting and how to do safety drills and as long as you don't forget any major safety issue you pass and as cadets you only shoot on ranges with a coach and a range officer who has complete control over everyone on the range and the staff don't do a fitness test cause theirs no need for as they don't go through actual military training to become staff either non uniform or uniform. And the cadets pass on the test only last 6 month's then they need to resit it before they can shoot again and also cadets don't get access to full auto weapons it's either semi auto weapons or 1 shot bolt action weapons so they need to reload the weapon after every shot

Great shooting Brits. It's Weird watching this with no semi Automatics. I live in California and I can't have a fore grip on my Ar15, No Pistol Grip and no Flash hider with California strictest state laws. The only legal AR 15 Rifles have to be "Featureless" The only reason I want to move out of California is to have less stricter laws on my rifles.. So far it's not bothering me to much.. I actually like How my AR is set up with a hammer grip. It must be like the same with you guys using single shot AR15's.

which would you prefer? an CA legal semi auto AR - no pistol grips, no detachabled mags etc and odd looking or straight pull AR with extended side charger like we have ? (with all the feteaures )
@mpretasky4 жыл бұрын
@@geezerp1982 sorry for a late reply.. Good question. I'm not sure. Having all features but with bolt action I guess I rather prefer. Full features I would have better stable in my actions along with my breathing and trigger squeeze in my grouping. The only thing with semi auto vs. Bolt action is the reset.
@geezerp19824 жыл бұрын
@@mpretasky the AR striaght pull still has the buffer spring . so the gun still chambers the round for you and faster then a turn bolt action

Ah... if only it wasn't so bloody difficult to get a firearms licence in this country. Add to that the all too often unhelpful, exclusive and snobby attitude that some associations and individuals have towards those of us who may want to join their club, it almost makes it not worth the effort trying.
@geezerp19827 жыл бұрын
its not hard to get a ticket ! they are 'shell issue' if you join a club or have land
@TheSound0fLegends4 жыл бұрын
@@geezerp1982 what is a ticket? Is that like a day license to rent a firearm at a club? Also that video had some terrible firing drills and positions, no wonder they were inaccurate shots 😬
@britishgamer6663 жыл бұрын
@@TheSound0fLegends a "ticket" is actually the certificate you get to own and possess a Firearm or Shotgun.
