If youre used to the keybinds then the pvp is like 90% build based and 10% skill

Its not harder its just that youre not used to the movements or never seen like most of the skills or delayed attacks

Its more effective to grind open sea events islands which spawn at times, you get a lot of good loot there with not so much risk

Bro's having a better time than i was. I'd leave etrea and get jumped by a minimum of 7 players. Like im not kidding when i say this either. I logged into deep, my friends were trying to help me. And theyd tell me to go to lower, and i'd cross the bridge and make it to the little camp by the docks called the navae camp. Every, Single, time. Id be jumped by 5+ players. For 0 reason. Made me quit the game until a bunch of my friend picked it back up then i started learning how to play the game. now im comfortable fighting pretty much everything in the game. Even as power 1. Ive solo'd duke and ferryman at powers 8 and 1 respectively (those guys are bosses) The only place im uncomfortable with in deep is layer 2 floor 2. Other than that i have the whole game memorized pretty much. If ya need help at all lmk.

3:49 i have around 1.3k hours in deepwoken in 2 years of playtime and i currently have around 60 hours on elden ring and genuenly the DLC is the most rage enducing things i have ever experienced especially when most bosses are eating my fps 💔 but good luck on deepwoken the pve will be easier after like 100 hours or smth but the main part that is hard is the pvp

You dont need to wipe when you go to the depths. Just go to the middle of the city and take the elevator to do the trial. Until level 15 you will usually only have sharkos, angels and mudskippers which are easy.

I've had this game since like 2021, for progression, just go to vipers jaw in lower erisia if you want to learn to beat megalodaunts (sharkos as we like to call them)

I max a gale pve, they are really meta and can be used to learn the game, you can’t die to mobs while using gale pves so you can slowly practice just parrying, when you get lower hp then you kill the mobs, then you mix in m1s (you’re a mage gale so your m1s do no damage) this is an effective way to learn the mobs, you can use the sheer fact that it’s an op build to prevent dying at low hp, 1 tornado kills practically and l1 mob, eventually you can start practicing on multiple mobs and bosses, the hardest thing in the game would have to be wave 50 in the diluvian mechanism, it is a 5 player trial in the depths that sends waves of mobs at you, personally I like to solo it (I get to keep all the loot 🤑) but you can go in with 4 others as well

fun pve tip dont just m1 you gotta watch out for the attacks like sharkos / megalodaunts (same thing btw) the have a sort of pattern they either swing twice then u can hit them like 2 to 3 times before they try to kick u or swing at you same things goes with other mobs except humanoids like bandits but it goes under the same aspect of watching for a attack then parrying and swinging back before attacking again

If you are scared and inconfident, then your basically cooked. When i was a freshie, i was super scarerd to die. I always shivered when fighting anything. And because of that, i wiped. Alot. So, be confident, and you will beat anything.

I would reccomend going to hive but bringing someone who can fight threshers also ONLY pick thresher extermination

You can't really say one is more difficult than one another, a Deepwoken player would have as much trouble as you did playing Dark souls for the first time as these type of games are mostly muscle memory and knowledge based rather than raw skill.

The only reason why deepwoken is harder is because its p2w to avoid perma loss (The option to revive your character with irl money)
