This song has some weirdest guitar sequences, the pull and reverse playing, and suddenly punching in power chords and then immediately disappearing, hearing the distortion from distance, one of the best and also one of strangest, as guitar player and student of music taking something really cool from here,

Saw this from an article on Slate about this song: Hadreas has said the song is a defiant response to experiencing what he calls “gay panic.” “Sometimes I see faces of blank fear when I walk by,” he explained in a press release. “If these fucking people want to give me some power-if they see me as some sea witch with penis tentacles that are always prodding and poking and seeking to convert the muggles-well, here she comes.”

If you and me ended up on a deserted island together stranded I would be like "Hey, I will hunt, build the fire, build shelter, collect water, and you just continue your Joy. You continue singing and dancing and bringing joy and I will take care of the rest" and I would feel we were even Steven. And trust me, I don't even know how to build a fire, but I would figure that out! Art and performance go back to our most base-natures of humanity and it will always be as important as any other human need to me.
