When I fished for Peacocks Bass in Singapore, the one bait I always had was the 3” Flash-J. Specifically “Ayu” color. I used to rig it with the TT Lures HWS hooks. As the centre of gravity is in the middle, it makes the lure wobble as it falls. This was really good for the territorial fish. Just lift and fall till I got a reaction strike.

What rod are you using??
@JapanImportTackle27 күн бұрын
A couple of the field staff here and the professionals like Taku like to use: Nories Power Finesse Spinning Rod Road Runner Voice Jungle Stick 680 JMHS I like to use BFS gear in the Medium Light ( so higher end BFS) and that works good from the shore covering ground. Any Spinning Rod you have will throw them just fine. It's when you try to go into cover that you will need to dial it in more. Hope that answers your question.

Is there a recommended lure weight range on these bearings?
@JapanImportTackle27 күн бұрын
I don't think there is a recommended Lure Weight for the Bearings. They do recommend using the Ceramic if you want to tune more for finesse and improve your lower weight casting on your reel. They also make stainless steel ones and those are recommended for heavier applications. Hope that answers your question. Is there a specific weight, reel or application you are thinking about?

which one do you think would least likely tangle line? Like for instance, when you're picking out a backlash?
@JapanImportTackleАй бұрын
honestly none of them have been a problem. I highly recommend them. What Rod and Reel combo are you planning on using it for?
@eddyo5464Ай бұрын
@JapanImportTackle A 7ft major craft days rod and a Daiwa tatula 200 reel. These seem a lot more effective than the ones that go around the rod with the little elastic holder.

Any chance u can do a swim test with the lazy swimmer ?!?!?! I have the 7inch and the 9inch and use them for murry cod but they swim terrible for me unless I add a chin weight
@JapanImportTackleАй бұрын
If you see the part of the video where it shows the swimming action that’s pretty accurate to what we get. With no weight you will be at the surface, and need to reel ULTRA SLOW. If you go faster it doesn’t like it. If you add 2 grams to the bait 1.5 inches behind the front hook it will let your bait suspend/slow sink. That’s where I have found the best swim for me but I’m fishing 5-10 feet of water. If you wanna go deeper or have current, please add more weight like you have been doing.

That lil minnow would be good on a bladed jig too. Chatter-bait MiniMax comes too mind.👌🏽

They are 89.99 for the regular colors and the Special limited colors are 99.99. If you are into swimbaits and can afford it I would say yes. It has a real good action on a slow retrieve unlike any other bait this style and on a burn this thing wakes like no other.
