If you don't like the smell of essential oils they will not suit you , try smelling really organic dear one some of the cheaper ones might be synthetic. I live by the power of aromatherapy. Tap water has to be filtered as all the additive in them are not good for you which is why people drink bottled spring. Best thing ever we bought was a reverse osmosis filter system on our tap water!!The pillows on bed is strange we never had that custom in our country , I was always amazed at this practise in movies and house renovations!!HELLO TO CUTE BLACK CAT IN THE BACKGROUND!!!

That funny bone story is so relatable. I also worked at a school for years and years and once the phone was ringing and my coworker answered it and said "Hackberry Hill, this is Mom". OMG right away the thee of us in the office, including her, were all laughing at her mistake but the person on the other end of the line did not see the humor. My coworker couldn't hardly talk with the laughing and crying and red face. We laughed about that for years and every once in a while, I'll be laying in bed trying to go to sleep and that moment comes back to me and I just giggle so hard that I can't stop! My husband is like the person on the other end of the phone line, no humor, and I have to get up and settle myself down before going back to bed. 🤣 That was probably 20 years ago!

For those of you downsizing, I highly recommend taking pictures or making a video of all the storage areas in your new home -- each drawer, closet, etc. When it's time to move, pack for those spaces first so you know what is actually going to fit. Something that I did that was helpful was that I numbered each moving box/bin and then kept a document that briefly described the contents. That way, I was able to easily find what I wanted to work with once we moved everything. Because we moved during the big shutdown, we ended up hauling everything to our new place but at least I knew which boxes/bins had what we needed and that the others could just be stored until we had a chance to go through them.

Thought for you. Instead of getting rid of your sideboard ( I think your setup looks nice there) just move your chandelier so it is centered over the location of your table. It doesn't necessarily have to be in the center of your room, but instead hang it where it works for your furniture placement!

For some reason, powder doesn’t work for me. It settles in my lines and makes my skin look dry. Your skin always looks good with it. Is your skin oily?

I have very dry skin in the winter and mildly in the summer. I use powder sparingly and make sure my skin is very moisturized beforehand.

I know this is a couple of years out from this video, but did you prime the skin? If so, was it with oil/silicone or water base? I can't find out if the make-up is water or oil based, b/c ingredients have both ingredients listed, so I'm guessing it means it's oil based & needs oil/silicone primer...? Any ideas from Anyone would be great!

Thank you!! I did try the eyebrow tool along with the eyebrow soap. Perfect. It keeps all my eyebrow hairs DOWN all day. I do make it go on thick and let it dry. It looks different for me being my hairs are thin. Thank you again. It was a really cheap fix for me. 😍❤️

Hi, good afternoon! My name is Chad, and I have some insights about the e.l.f. Laminating brow gel. First of all, the term “brow laminating gel” may not be the best fit for this product, as most items labeled as “laminating” tend to be glossy and gel-like in consistency. That said, the way you applied this product aligns with how most laminating gel products are typically used. For a bit of fun, I’d like to rename it to “FiberLock: Ultra Matte Micro Brow Fabric.” Regarding application, it's best to use the included applicator wand and apply it sparingly to the brow area. I've noticed that many people use the wand to style or blend the product into their brows or skin. While you can do that, the product also comes with a brush and a comb that are quite sufficient for those tasks. I prefer to use the applicator wand to apply just a small amount. If you use the wand to work the product into your brows, you may end up applying too much. For this product, one stroke upwards with the applicator brush is usually enough, particularly in areas where your brow hairs are most unruly. Regardless, remember: just one stroke is all you need! This also helps your products to last longer because exposure to air is minimized as the period the container is open is shortened, Using less product means less debris getting on your brush, which is super helpful! Once you've got the right amount, you can use the comb or brush to work the product into your brow hairs. You’ll see that using less gives a dry effect-kind of like using brow soap but with way more hold! If you're aiming for that nice matte, laminated look, just press the hairs firmly against your skin with the brush. For a more boyfriend-style, bushy brow look, try working the brush back and forth through your brows. Then, you can use the comb lightly to groom them into place. Plus, using the product in a drier state helps other products stick better and last longer. Just remember, a little goes a long way! Hope this makes your brow routine easier and more fun!

You are so right. My husband of 48 years died unexpectedly right before the world shut down. After a year I decided to sell our big home so literally had to do all this by myself as only one of our 2 kids lived here. I moved from 3500 SF to 1100 SF. It makes decluttering easier! But such a huge task…do it more often

I got that kit for $41. Well worth the price for all the elements that bring a basic face together (in retirement). However, if I was still working or when I go in public with husband and/or friends, it takes quite a bit more. Also, I have to practice considerable skin care for product to even adhere to my face for any length of time.

You are such a joy to watch! We used the word dibs here in North Carolina too. I love it when you laugh when you know you shouldn’t. That makes it funnier. My dad was in Hospice before he passed away. His pastor came to visit and was praying. I looked over at my mom and she was trying to get out her recliner. It was hilarious. She and I were silently laughing so hard and crying. We managed to get control of ourselves until he left. I think the good Lord knew we needed a stress relief. I believe laughter with tears is the best. ❤️

Don't assume you want to downsize. When my brother retired, he wanted to go from managing his employees to managing his wife. She told me that when my own husband retired, I should get the biggest house I could afford. She made miniatures and she said, "Sometimes I get in among my dollhouses, and he can't even find me." That was excellent advice. I think that if we hadn't expanded our house, I would have divorced or shot him by now. How would you feel about a man who monitors how you put the clean dishes in the draining rack and turns them upright so they don't drain?

Thanks for doing this video. I learned to line the upper waterline from Nikol Johnson, for those of us who are challenged in trying to line from the top at the base of the lashes. I was never good at it, so doing the upper waterline is the perfect answer. I am going to try the Milani, I LOVE their nail polish, (if you can find it). It lasts longer than any I have tried. Regarding transfer, I don't mind a bit of transfer, to me it gives a nice, slightly smudgy look, so I don't have to try to line the bottom lid and make it look natural. As I age, I am really trying to do the bottom liner much more subtle and not so harsh.
