On the neck is completely different from the wrist ik... I tried 😅 hardly felt it on my wrist made me twitch level 2... not trying any higher setting.

Why do you refuse to call it an electric shock? Sorry but I do believe that pet owners should be aware of exactly hat they are doing to their pets. This video is helpful but i wish you'd speak more openly about the training method on shock collars. It is not just stimulation, it is likely pain.
@Dogmaster_AU11 күн бұрын
Hi, because it is NOT an Eelectric Shock collar. We can call it Electirc collar but not Shock Collar as it doesn't shock at all. It is not powered by 240V electricity but infact, they are powered by small low output battery. All the collar has been tested and have safety tested report. If you are not sure how they work, there are lots of online information you can look up from google. E collar safety testing reports.

I’ve had the 220 Garmin, stepped up to the 320 and now running a pathfinder. It’s personal preference but dogtra does everything garmin does for less than half the price

Uh what? The dogtra has tone, but also, who cares? Talk about the performance or something that’s not on the list of features on the websites 🫠

Have you heard any complaints about the YS300 (or the Garmin for that matter) malfunctioning and giving a correction to a dog that doesn't deserve it? Especially repeatedly? There are Amazon reviews where people talk about dogs having scabs on their necks from repeated shocks.
@Hawleyable4 ай бұрын
from what i understand, sores from a bark collar or e-collar with prongs are not from stimulation - they are from incorrect usage (mainly over use). I've heard trainers say 8-12 hours max (with 12 being extreme) wear time on a bark collar, and that is with semi-frequent adjustments. if the prongs are in contact with the skin for too long, it will damage the dogs skin. it is not from electrical stimulation (which is static - not what comes out of your outlet). but again, repeated stimulation is not going to cause these types of sores. Owners can't just put these collars on and leave them on - of course a dog would have sores from that.

@@Hawleyable Thanks. We've been using it for a few months and it took a good 2-3 months for my dog to get the idea. Now she only barks when there's a really good reason. She used to bark just to eff with the dog across the road. But not any more.

@@Hawleyable Are these meant to be used temporarily until the dog learns the desired behavior?

Does the bark limiter feature include autorise where it automatically adjusts stimulation if the dog keeps barking? Or is it only one level at a time?
@stevenlutchen77626 ай бұрын
it will increase the stimulation as the dog keeps barking

We have a vibration activated bark collar for our Vizla and it doesn’t work very well because he rarely barks, most of the time he wines and howls so, I would not recommend the garmin for howlers like hounds.

I have a cheap e collar and im looking to upgrade but what ive found is my current collar goes into standby so i have to press the audible button a few times so i know its back on and THEN i can use the zapper to stop him going in the rd or a river etc, i need a collar that wont go into standby so if i need to correct my dog quickly the collar will respond instantly....any advice! 🇬🇧💙

Is there still the ability to operate the dogtra when out of service?
@Dogmaster_AU2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ben, Yes of course. All you need to do is - download the map of the area you are going for a hunt when you have internet at home. Then you don't need any 4G or GSM connections, it is working on GPS only when you have the map reloaded on the phone.
