Okay. You start the video with the thing already opened up. Mine is not already opened up allowing access to the wires. How do we open it up to access these wires? Why not do an instructional video start to end? People are more likely to buy your product then.

Thanks for the awesome video! I hand-washed the snoo mesh with oxyclean and baby detergent. The internal mesh turned completely pale yellow even after soaking it in a bucket overnight (close to 24hrs). Any advice on what to do next or is it a lost cause now?
@SnoozyMama_SnooCleaning-RepairАй бұрын
Hi. Some of the Snoo's internal mesh is a pale yellow at baseline, so there is no way to make it white like the outside mesh. Now that you have clean and white outside mesh, it's probably more prominent/noticeable than before. :)

I have a 2019 and I can’t get the base unlocked. I removed all the clips and the plastic plate just like the video. I disconnected the wires. But the screw that locks the base on my snoo looks different than the one in the video. Unlike the one in the video, there is no circle and line markings to show “locked” and “unlocked” on the plastic part or on the screw itself. How can I unlock the base to get the part below?
@SnoozyMama_SnooCleaning-Repair3 ай бұрын
The older model Snoo’s don’t have that center lock screw. So there is no need to remove it. After you have disconnected the wires you can just pull up the swivel base.

Great thanks for video; super helpful! 1 o ring completely worn through and the smaller ones on the motor were very worn. 4:42 I have put it all back together and the machine is turning on with the white light showing but nothing is happening? If I click the button again it flashes a couple of times and then goes back to constant white light but still nothing happening - any advice here on what to look at next?! It’s so long since I last used the snoo, I can’t remember what the white light means and the app is no longer working on my phone.
@SnoozyMama_SnooCleaning-Repair3 ай бұрын
Hi, this can be caused by a number of things. However, the most common is due to a faulty wire on the safety clips. In this case you will get a message on the app that says “Clips not engaged”. First check to make sure you have a Snoo sac attached to the safety clips, if you still get the message then it’s definitely a faulty wire. Luckily we also have a video on how to repair this and we sell the Snoo Clips Repair Kit on our website. Link in description.

Got the 3 rings replaced for the motar. Even went as far as removing the motar itself to replace the bearing but I didn't feel confident atm pressing the bearing out with bed time coming up quicker then I had wanted. Also I noticed my snoo was quite alot different from yours in the video. My o rings for the slay were red and needed to be removed from the bottom. Which involved removing the clips from the motherboard. Were these changes from earlier models?

Thank you, our Snoo very recently stopped moving. I ordered the o-ring kit on your site and we're up and running again. Our Snoo must be very old as when I opened it up, it was pretty different: - didn't have the locking screw - the bearings could not be pulled out, I had to completely remove the platform with the motor attached to it as the bearings are held in by a plastic bracket that is screwed in from the bottom (took a solid 20 mins longer) I don't know which year our Snoo is as we bought it second-hand back in 2019.
@Monicallme864 ай бұрын
I think I have the same problem but I wasn’t able to figure out how to open the snoo to expose the motor and bearings. I don’t have the locking screw either and it looks like there’s a chip with wires below the speaker so I’m unable to life the base. Any tips?
@MatthewWeiler19844 ай бұрын
@@Monicallme86 I didn't replace the motor bearings, but I did replace all of the o-rings. To get the base, with all of the o-rings, out I had to remove several nuts (~6) from the top which then allowed the screws to drop from the bottom of the Snoo. Then there are ~4 more screws that you have to unscrew from the bottom of the Snoo. For these screws, you'll need a very thin shaft screwdriver. Once all of those screws are removed, the base with the motor and the bearings, will lift out... But be gentle as there are several wires connected to an electrical board that you have to remove one by one. The cable connectors are color coded, so reconnecting them is easy :) Then you can finally remove the screws holding the bearings in and replace their o-rings. This added about 30 minutes to the whole process, but really not too bad.

Hello, unfortunately the Snoo models 2018 and older have that design. We are in the process of making a tutorial on how to repair the older Snoo models. To check the year model of your Snoo simply look under the Snoo next to the barcode you will see a manufacturer date. If you don’t see a date and only see a lot number then it is a 2015 or 2016 Snoo. You can also check the year by looking at the 5th and 6th digit of the serial number. Subscribe to our channel to get notified when we release the new video tutorial!

When will the tutorial for the 2018 models drop? Desperate to try and fix our snoo
@MatthewWeiler19842 ай бұрын
@@AlexandraForlenza Honestly, it wasn't too difficult when I did it about 2 months ago. I just followed this guide until I had to replace the o-rings on the bearings. I then unscrewed all of the screws that were visible from the bottom/underside of the Snoo. This then allowed me to lift the entire base piece, but there are 3-4 cables which need to be disconnected from a circuit board (they just unplug). Don't worry too much about this as each cable connector only fits 1 plug, so you can't mix them up :) At that time, you can fully remove the base piece, flip it over and remove the 2 screws that hold each bearing in place. I did not have to replace the bearings in the motor, but the motor is fully accessible at this time so if you have to do that, it shouldn't be difficult. To put it all back together, you just do the reverse, not forgetting to plug those connectors back in when you re-install the base piece. Since I did this fix, our Snoo works perfectly again :)

Hello, i have four clips that just wont go. I have like two that the clips closer to the mesh wont click in. I also have like two that second one wont clip 😥 i tried everything you showed me in the video
@SnoozyMama_SnooCleaning-Repair5 ай бұрын
Are any of the clips broken? If you cannot get them to go in, in rare cases there's 2 tiny plastic prongs that stick out on the bottom on the flat clip... if these have gotten stuck in the clip with the screws then the clip wont go on. You will have to check the clips with the 2 small screws to see if there something stuck in there. The 2 small holes are right below the screw holes. If you see that there is something occluding the hole, then cut the 2 small prongs on the flat clip so they will go in. I hope this helps ! :) Also, if you have damaged the plastic rim on the netting where it pops into the clips, this will also cause the clips not to connect...

@SnoozyMama_SnooCleaning-Repair5 ай бұрын
You could steam and spot clean both the mattress cover and the mattress pad. But if they are in bad shape ( sometimes they grow mold) I would just buy new ones. They are relatively inexpensive ( $10-mattress, $15- cover) on the happiest baby website . I will provide the links for both since they are hidden on their site. Remember that they are 2 separate items, the waterproof cover & the foam mattress! www.happiestbaby.com/products/replacement-mattress www.happiestbaby.com/products/replacement-waterproof-mattress-cover

We have a triple loved snoo to return clean to the original owner, if the motor starts to rumble with each movement does that mean it needs new O rings? is my baby too big for it and it’s just struggling? 😂 Thanks for the amazing informational tutorials ❤
@SnoozyMama_SnooCleaning-Repair6 ай бұрын
Hi @holypop Yes this would mean that the Orings need to be replaced. Anytime your Snoo makes a jerky movement or any kind of weird noise; 9/10 it means that the Orings need replacement. I recommend buying our Orings kit to get the exact size and material specifications. Some people use 4 small Orings they found on the internet but this is not safe to use and you run the risk of further breaking your Snoo. I’ve seen this happen countless times.
