I have the Vizio version V505 and the second code works for my TV. The best all the buttons worked. You have to hold the TV button while putting in the numbers.

What does the phone number really do? I called it and it asked if I wanted to reset everything to "factory default" is this a factory reset? If so, then that is a terrible way to make mobile data go faster

TIP # 581.... for SANYO MODEL FW40D36F (OLDER LCD - around 2009 model) - My red light was on. When I'd hit the power button the SANYO logo would show then the screen would shut off again. I tried the different tips from the video and none worked. I'm not exactly sure which of these did the trick, but one of them completed a hard factory reset. Unplug TV, push power button on tv for 30 seconds, wait another minute, plug back in and try it. If that doesn't work, Unplug TV, hit the "power and source" buttons simultaneously for 30 seconds, wait another minute and plug back in. Hit the power button again. Good luck peeps!! Hope this helps someone.

Press "tv" or "set" down until you see a red light on the remote,then you type in the code then press mute. To figure out what code works for your TV is to just use all the codes and see which one works. But I'll start off with the 4 digit ones first (imo)
