We bought this 1.3 petrol X trail , we had the 1.6 diesel before. Yes it's a little less economical but not by much.... much much smoother and nicer to drive, quieter, cheaper fuel, cheaper to service. And definitely better if you're doing shorter journeys .

It is disasterous that we speak about 3 liter 6 cylinder diesel engine as something special in 2024. 10 years ago there was so many 3 liter diesel engines from BMW, MB, Audi with similar consumption but mich better performance. This car is great and engine is also nuce, but we should have engines with over 300 hp as a standard when speaking about 6 cylinder engins

This is the reality of the downsizing campaign and the incomplete directives to reduce CO2 and other harmful gasses. Of course manufacturers will try to game the system and get those numbers lower in specific conditions with smaller engines. Who cares if they drink fuel in the real world, pollute and break down more, eh? Having said that, Mazda has shown how it's possible to create a larger engine with plenty of torque and power, very impressive fuel economy and meeting EURO emission standards.

@Pit-Stop poverty and wars are more harmful, but nobody is trying to solve these problems. Car emissions are irrelevant, not important and insignificant. Scientifically proved

Witch one is the silenctest. Im in golf team but i like Leon to. I didnt like audi looks but have best dashboard looks. Skoda is great but interior in my opinion is too clasical.

Mazda nam je pred kakim letom povedala, da so ti motorji tako čisti, da sploh ne bi potrebovali AdBlue dodatka ampak so ga dodali, ker naj bi ljudje to sedaj pričakovali pri dizlih. Po pravici povedano pa se ne spomnim, ali so rekli, da motor dejansko ustreza Euro 7 ali ne.

@@Pit-Stop ja, to bo še zanimivo... o euro 7 pravilih se še pogajajo. Najprej je bilo mišljeno spustit motorje pod mejo 80g CO2, potem so ugotovili, da je to nemogoče doseči (najnovejša Corolla full hybrid ima 105g izpusta po WLTP merjenju - spomnimo se, včasih se je Toyota hvalila z ekološkomi motorji, to je bilo seveda še po ta starem fake/nerealnem merjenju emisij)... Je pa zelo verjeten scenarij, da bo moč motorjev zmanjšana... Imam feeling, da je letos "nastal" novi VW 1.5 TSi 85kW izključno zaradi tega...

Hi, very nice review. When you are driving on the highway with 120 to 130 km/hour, the noise level is acceptable or too high?

Unlike the Ignis or especially the Jimny, the SX4-Scross has reasonable highway gearing, so it's not too loud at high speeds.

I bought a Clio IV 2018 and 8 months in I drove it for 11000 km and only had to change one of the lights and will do maintenance soon but I do 4.9 l per 100 km

@@addeade231 mainly country road sometimes round the city sometimes on the motorway . But also I’m not a big fan of unnecessary speeding I keep my driving speed as stable as possible . When I drive faster I also keep my speed stable and I try not shift gears unnecessarily by matching the speed with what I need . It’s boring to some but really I’m not one to speed . Hence why u have a clio instead of a bmw .

Thats not a turbo lag my god, its the system is calculates how much fuel it can give not to polute the country, turbo is small is has no turbo lag wtf

A word about not partic about the Clio but generally don't run engine on less than quarter tank.....fuel pump damage may follow....?!//////

I haven't heard about that. At a quarter tank, the fuel pump should still be fully immersed. What is not recommended is running the tank dry or close to dry as the fuel pump is lubricated by the fuel itself. That can damage or burn the pump out, resulting in costly repairs.

Love the G21 3 series wagon pre-facelift! BMW hit gold with their designs in the late 2010's and early 2020's. The 1 series, 3 series, X3, and X5 from those years all have the same excellent style, especially the interiors. But, I hate the facelifted and new generation designs with no buttons and all piano black and digital. In the USA, the G21 wagon and diesel models were not sold, sadly. The only option is to get a previous gen. F31 I4 diesel wagon, and ideally boost it's power with RaceChip software.

The B mode is another economic measure that improves MPG and prolongs the lifespan of the brakes and tyres. It should only be selected at the same time of using the brake gently which helps the car to slow down.

Why is the armrest in the door hard plastic now? It was cushened in the Duster 2 phase 2. Pretty irritating on long drives.

Vitara is 1.4 Boosterjet turbo hibrid 4 cilinder and Duster is 1.2 3 cilinder....Boosterjet is better..and quality is better

La meilleure voiture que j'ai eue avec mon ancienne Renault VelSatis. Un confort exceptionnel. Le moteur 2.0 dci 160 consomme entre 5.5 litres et 6.5 litres/100 km. 170.000 km sans aucun souci, à part quelques bizarreries électroniques. Je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat.

The vehicle is stunning and fulfills nearly all one could need. At its price point, it faces little competition, primarily the new MG, which offers 300hp at the same price as the top-tier Duster, making it an even more practical option. Hopefully, Dacia has produced enough to meet demand, considering MG is introducing more powerful and larger vehicles at the same price.

Lol...that's no competition since MG has no proven history of reliability, it's also a Chinese factory...Dacia is second place after Lexus in reliability...i don't believe MG will achieve that kind of quality.

We bought a CX-60, and it has been a terrible experience. We’ve had problems every day. In just six months, we’ve had to bring it in for recalls and software resets five times. The value has already dropped by $10,000. Please don’t buy the CX-60. My wife spoke to the General Sales Manager, Robert, Mt Gravatt but there was no resolution. He was polite, but nothing was accomplished.

I'm an older driver and this car is my favourite ever car in all departments. I get well over 500 miles on a full tank even if I don't use the eco setting. and let it do it's own thing on multi sense (that's mixed city/twice monthly motorway driving). That compares to about 350 miles on the Scenics I drove before. Well impressed.

I recently bought one of these and absolutely love it! It is fun to drive with a refined and comfortable ride. In B mode is pretty much a one pedal car but I don't know if the break lights come on automatically, would you know?

I believe any car with a B driving mode turns its break lights on since there's a lot more braking than just engine braking. I could be wrong, of course, but that makes the most sense.
