I like how he used a different dolly at the very end to sample.

From the days of the RG500 and 500ypvs In my opinion, these are among the best bikes made, along with this NS400R pure adrenaline, happy days 👍

Former SB8R owner, thanks for the video! A a tip for a collector who rides his bikes, consider picking up an EBR1190RS, in either glass or carbon. Words can’t describe how good these bikes are…. The best of the best of everything on them and they ride like it-basically AMA bikes with an extra gasket under the jugs to lower compression. I think Bill Melvin still has one or two and they should be pretty accessible if you’re interested. Just a monstrous bike that is easy to ride and handles very, very well-it makes my R1M and GSXR feel like comparing diamonds to gravel but doesn’t feel foreign to ride or ‘wierd’ in a way that some exotics can.

Would someone come over and help me get my jaw off the floor? You have great taste (and maybe some collectors luck) in your Bimota collection. And they all just gleam. These bikes are all in a good place. Bravo.

This guy is doing it right! Plus he really only has one of each so he's not hoarding them from the rest of us by collecting 5 of the same model bike like some restoration companies are doing

In the 1980s there was a Bimota SB2 in the local Suzuki dealer. I really fancied that bike, and still do. A steel multi-tube frame tightly wrapped around the engine, tubes around the front of the steering head, and rear fork pivot concentric with the gearbox sprocket. The welding was oh-so-smooth.

Beautiful collection! I especially love the KB1 and as soon as I saw it I thought about Nick Ienatch since he wrote about it back in ‘90s in either Motorcyclist or Sport Rider. I was really surprised to hear that this was the very bike; shat a coincidence. The heavy Kawasaki air-cooled lump in a short and light chassis always fascinated me. The DB1 is also fantastic, fully faired just like the Honda Hurricanes (600 & 1000) and the Ducati Paso which have this wonderful ‘80s futuristic styling.

1098R is has the 1198 engine? Did I hear that right?
@SBKStash5 ай бұрын
Yes. Like the 1997 916 SPS which had a displacement of 996ccs, the 2008 1098R had a displacement of 1198ccs.
