"For eight years I wasn't injured....coincidence or not" Pathetic lie. Keane's behavior was out of order completely.... But it is strange if Keane ended his career by kicking him in the right knee, when the "uninjured" for eight years' Haaland's chronically problematic left knee (strapped up as you can see clearly @ 1:13 in the video) was the one that ended his career. It was the left knee that ended his career, not the right that Keane hit. He stayed on the pitch after Keane's tackle, he played for Norway that mid-week he played again for 68 minutes of City's next league game against West Ham (and got carded). He had surgery on his left knee that summer. NOTHING done on the right. The knee Keane hit was not harmed at all, ultimately....take it from Haaland's own quote to the BBC the next day "I'm only glad my leg was off the ground, OTHERWISE he would have done me a lot of damage." He claims that his other knee (the already problematic one) was twisted and that is "probably" what happened which is nonsense. If that destroyed the already injured left knee, why did he not grab it in pain? or favor it? or leave the pitch? or play two more games? The video speaks for itself....his left knee does not twist at all and he is already leaping up to avoid Keane....there is not twisting to the left knee, no contact with it, and it is already off the ground. Bunch of nonsense. Keane's terrible tackle was bad enough....Haaland trying to blame Keane obliquely for ending his career is disgraceful as well. Haaland was not some classy, gentlemanly player during his premier leagues he was a dirty, niggling player, lunging in two-footed, throwing elbows.... Don't believe it? Just look for "Erling & Alfie Haaland | Father & Son react to two footed tackles and old videos!" Even Erling says, a couple of times "What are you doing?!?!"

Sorry but seems like Alifie is crying too much. Spit in someones face with so much agression one of your team mates has to pull you away, while you are lying on the floor with their acl in pieces. You're going to remember that... Footballers know when it's a bad injury why do you think your keeper restained you? This Mr Innocent video doesn't wash with me - lol

man had injuries on his knee before hand and was planning on a surgery for it after the season. he played rest of that game and played days later for his country as well as finishing out his season then he got surgery and couldnt stay fit afterwards. Dont twist the story

Fact is Haaland was injured already, he quit because of a pre existing injury unrelated to what Keano did. Typical Man City player of the era...out to make a name for himself without winning anything!

I'm a United fan and a huge supporter of Roy Keane but can never justify that challenge. Keano wouldn't have liked to be on the receiving end of that. Fair play to Haaland in how he has dealt with it.
