btw, the line of best fit was wrong, u started from one point, went through one point but there were 2 points under the line of best fit and one above, dots should be equal on both side of the line if youre not crossing them. (Q2 c) 8:03

Does order of the points matter, whether right or wrong? Say for a 3 mark question the first 2 points are correct, the 3rd point is wrong and the 4th(extra) points is correct, do I get full marks?

as long as your third point doesnt contradict your other points then ur fine, u will get marks for the 4th point

Hi a quick question. In biology and chemistry. Can I write more points than needed? For example if there is a 2 marks question can I write 4 points? Would I score marks? Suppose 2 points are correct and 2 are wrong will I still get the full mark? And for 6 mark questions there is a lot of space. If I use only 6-8 lines to write the answer and suppose the answer is correct same as in the scheme would I get the marks? would that be okay? Please reply

I only took biology in my a levels so I'm not sure about chem but that is literally what I always tried to do. If you have more points to write than the number of marks then yes, absolutly do! They don't deduct marks so in a 2 mark question you wrote 4 points and two are correct then you get the full mark. As for the 6 mark question it doesn't matter how many lines you write as long as the key points you wrote is accepted in the marking scheme. In bio especially, I tend to yap a lot and then only get 4 out of 6 marks for example, so try to stick to the question and don't wander far in the writing. A disadvantage though for writing more points than needed is the time limit, If you want to write more points than needed I stand by what I said at first, go for it. However, you need to train yourself to be able to solve faster with great efficiency because the marking scheme is quite strict. So yeah, thats my opinion and good luck with your studies

Yes you can write more points as long as they wrong points. Don’t contradict the correct ones you will still get the mark.

Hiii I would rlly appreciate some advice here, anything would help really. So im taking A2 biology and im taking the 3 exams in june. So far im done with unit 4 but im struggling a lot with past papers and its worrying me. My school doesnt have an A2 biology teacher available, so im self studying. The past papers are sooo weird and the more i start solving, the weirder the questions get. Please do you have any advice? Am i missing something? I rlly need an A* in bio. + in As i got 277/300 UMS.
