Why no mention of the grey(silver) jerseys they wore in the early 2000’s? I forget the exact years but i have a Rasheed Wallace one and had a Joel Pryzbilla one. I remember seeing them play in them in games.

I had a lot of Lakers fans that used to tell me the Vikings got their colors from them are used to laugh.

I was there from the beginning and still love the original uniforms the best. I hated the mid 90s "Blue splash " unis and I didn't really like the Miracle at Richfield jerseys either, even though that's my favorite era.

A big fan of the original uniform, and definitely partial to the use of gold for home/wine for away. I love those colors, they were different than anybody else. The 1980-1983 stuff is underrated. I hated them going to blue/orange. They looked like the Knicks. And yes, I'm old school. I hate that home teams get to wear dark jerseys and teams have 5 alternates. WAY TOO MANY all-black-unis in today's NBA. Do all traditions have to be trashed? Wine & Gold forever!

Uh super cool video! I was a big Charlotte fan, both of the Hornets and Bobcats. Gerald Wallace was my 2nd favorite player behind Vince Carter, so I had/have his white home Bobcats jersey. Love the background information. To add to your info about the Reebok play dry design, other than the Warriors you mentioned, the 76ers, Sonics, Heat, Rockets, Bucks, and Nuggets also had those. Worked really well for most teams in my opinion, but kind of hip hop stylish.

It’s a small detail but you were mistaken about one thing. You said they were in the 1995 finals against the bulls. The 95 finals was rockets vs magic and the Sonics were still wearing their green and yellow arc uniforms that year. The Sonics and bulls was the 96 finals which was the first year of the new uniforms with the maroon added.

I’m a Washington state native and Seattle sports guy through and through. Basketball and the Sonics were my first sports love and I remember the nostalgia of watching them during the glory years growing up in the 90s it was one of the highlights of my childhood. So seeing them lumped together with the bullsh*t abomination known as the OKC thunder is always like a nice kick in the nuts, thanks. You are wrong. Sonics alternate red jersey date was (1999-2001). For two seasons: It is for the 1999-2000 season and the 2000-2001 season they had those red alternate jerseys.
