I sold my Sonic Blue GT for 4500 it was a tough sale in this economy.. I had it priced at $6800 could not get anyone to even come look at it.. it had 165k miles on it.. Never thought such a beautiful car would be SO hard to sell, it took 2 months..

That seems about right, there is a 04 GT in my area priced at 7k w/168k miles, I think it has been sitting for a month at least

@NewEdgeDesigns that's terrible. This one is just over 140k with a brand new clutch kit. Hopefully the economy straightens up now. I'll just keep it if I can't get at least $5,000.

It's your theft light. Turning off your fuel pump. My 2000 does that when the tilt wheel is put all the way up. So weird.

GM Had nothing to do with the Hummer H1. Especially since the truck in the video ISN'T ACTUALLY AN H1. Its a HMMWV made by AM General.

Similar thing happened to my dad he left his Pontiac firebird on a parking lot A PARKING LOT HE PAID FOR and some idiot thought it was abandoned picked it up and after years of sitting there (Pops still paying for the parking spot btw) decides to fix it and it’s gone my pops scared undocumented decided not to report anything. WHAT DID I DO I have the original documents for the car since he paid cash looked up it’s new owner to pick it up since it was stolen but then again I don’t want to go out 4 states just to pick it up, I was like 3 when this happened.

Crown Vic alternator is fine as long as it’s from before 05. Been through lots of TOB’s, ford performance has one that will get rid of it. You could also tighten the clutch a little bit more and it may go away. Been running an 01 Vic alternator from an interceptor has about 30 more amps than the standard GT.

I think in the video you called it a chip but basically there’s something in the ignition that reads that resistance and it knows that you have the key and you’re not trying to steal it. That’s the way it works in my 2008 Ford edge.

It just needed too much work to be where I wanted it. That and video views crash after the first few videos of a car so I have to sell and find another broken one to film lol but the stage 3 cam chop made it lurch bad.

The odometer will come back lol....mine shuts off when it feels like but always comes back after i drive it for a little. My throw out bearing is making the same noise, i havent gotten around to it yet because dropping the transmission is such a pain on jackstands

It's a solder joint that needs to be reflowed on the cluster. Easy fix. Google it.

The right most light on the dash is a "low coolant light", the one with the [X]. They were and still are known to be faulty because the light turns on even with full coolant. Most people simple disconnect the sensor from the coolant reservoir. This "low coolant" light/sensor is for 99-00 model years only, on the 01-04 Ford put a "check fuel cap" light instead. Its always better to visually inspect the coolant level on these cars anyway. The odometer light not working could the the soldering joins, known to crack on these model year F150s and Mustangs. They crack from the stress of pressing onto the odometer reset button a lot. Easy fix with just a touch up of solder, plenty of youtube tutorials on that. The odometer can be removed and fixed in less than an hour.

I made sure it was topped off, but the light stayed on. The car does smell of gas intermittently, which I found odd. I inspected the rail and all of the usual leak locations near the rear, but found nothing. Thanks for all the info!

@@AutoExec1 The gas smell could also be related to the EVAP system.. maybe a small leak or something. You would get a code for it though so keep using it and see if a code pops up

Correct on the low coolant light, I had a 97 gt that did infact have the low coolant light, if im not mistaken all sn-95 mustangs have the light

When u did you clutch job did you feel the input shaft didn’t have play to it? Most likely the cause same time some clutches sound like it’s the throw out bearing but it’s just the clutch I ran an xtd stage two in my eclipse and sounded like the throw out bearing cause Everytime I push the clutch in it went away but it was the clutch forsure after it broke in never heard it again
