if you put a light bulb socket with a 40/60/100 watts you can make de big dehydrator. I did it for my 3d printer filaments.

I will most likely attempt this; however, the music choice for this video is on point. It was like watching How it’s made on the discovery channel with good music. 😁👍

What are you fuggin nuts? Do you have any idea how long it would take me to do the first step of this alone? Next you’ll be telling me “never throw away a broken heart again” then proceed to show open heart surgery (which is also something I can’t do, nor would I attempt)! Look, you youtube folks with all your knowledge, talent, and experience are great and all, but you really need to take something into consideration... most of us out here are pretty dumb. But the rest, like me, are bordering on retarded - so there’s no hope of us attempting anything remotely similar to this! I immediately get an anxiety attack as soon as I see wood with marks on it, because that insinuates power tools are coming up! No thanks.

I guess that if every single part on the umbrella were broken this would be worthwhile. Otherwise, I don't know.

No offence but I prefer an umbrella over a selfie stick :/ albeit a broken umbrella is useless but I don’t use a selfie stick, so equally useless so this would be a waste of time >_< KZbin why did you link me this video! 😡

Words, please!! Why do people do this? Are they embarrassed of the sound of their own voice or what!? It's very frustrating to have a video where someone isn't even explaining what they're doing.

What did you put on the latch-pin before braising on the nut? One problem... Motor/coupling/failure. No failsafe; stuck. Electro magnet and spring. I added an old remote control touch pad, 470Ω resistor and 9 volt battery and a flashing red led for any combination other than the two that release the magnet. opens on power failure/ A spring will never let you down, and the flashing red light could trigger an alarm. I use dc geared drill motors to raise and lower my bookshelves. Simple worm gear and a busted DeWalt 18vdc creates tons of torque. I like like this though. Opens up the creative neuron synapse. My new toy is cardboard boxes and thin CA glue. Makes them indestructible. Add a little baking soda to fill voids. Takes a hammer to break it, Good stuff, I'll subscribe. You may be tons ahead of me as an imagineer, this is the first of your videos I've seen. I'm inspired and a very humble average genius. Peace.

I’ve been a DIY’r all my life. There are times however when commonsense should prevail. I just purchased an adaptor for my iPhone 13 pro max. 10.00, and all I had to do was read instructions and mount the phone. What you did is good in one way. Then again I feel you’d have to be totally bored out of your mind to go through all the engineering to complete such a task as you did just to save a few dollars. I know the reward in doing it yourself is priceless. Then again, is it really?

Although a nice inventive idea, tbh, I didn't understand what was going on or about to happen up until the very end. I'm assuming the numbers were voltage? I could be wrong. I'm no electrician. But long story short, you did save some $ creating your own extended camera shutter aka "selfie stick" (for the young'uns). Now I wonder what you'll invent with the remainder of the broken umbrella. P. S. When we were kids growing up, I've watched my brother make so many useful things out of what others would consider useless garbage, or things they'd just throw away. Or he'd even make things work again like they were never broken! Our mom would think he was just collecting trash. Then he took me to his room to show me a lot of things he had made from so many things I'd see him randomly pick up (when walking to and from school, or playing outside). Things like a working CB Radio out of an old school (large ones) stereo deck or transistor radio that had those long bulb things in the back. And even spoke with truck drivers who were on the road across the country, using his CB Radio he made! He even made a lightbulb work using aluminum foil and a potato! No battery! I've no idea how he did that or many other things he did. But he worked his mojo and made it all happen. He got into trouble when mom came in her kitchen to find her toaster taken apart & broke down. She asked him why in Earth he'd do something like that! He said, "I just wanted to see how it works!". When he was old enough to get out on his own, he graduated with a trade in electronics. He's been doing it ever since, to date. That, I believe was his calling. Your video here reminded me of that.
