I saw them @ The American Theater in STL. 1994. Blew us away. Will always follow them. Screw the rest.

The Right Band but the Wrong Audience. Like Jazz, White Audiences loved Living Colour (I saw them 5 times) but Black Audience were resigned to Rap Music by '88.

A big massive Thankyou for playing the Nottingham Rock City last week. The overall feel and technical aspect was amazing. Sometimes i wish bands would have a longer set list and play a wee bit longer. But i am not complaining as what i saw was top class entertainment. Wasn't able to buy a Vivid t-shirt cos they had unfortunately sold out. But i did manage to purchase a Who Shot Ya shirt so yeah cool. One of New Yorks finest. Cheers Guys!

Killed by that bullshit grunge. A fad that lasted 5 minutes. They should've been huge. They had (and have) it all, rock, funk, groove, consciousness, rap, soul and huge talent.

I have been a fan of Living Colour since Vivid and I have only just found out what this song is about. Now I'm kind of overwhelmed by emotion.

When this band first came out I love them then and I love them now this band knows how to kick ass and it is the first African-American metal band considering that this band was the first group to open up for the Rolling Stones when they came out on stage they were greedy with boos but they still continued on and persevered and that just goes to show you there is no color lines in music and this group is badass plain and simple😊

July 10th, 1988: Listening to 120 minutes on MTv. Cult of Personality comes on and a black kid finds his people. Went back to college and was playing LC in my dorm and this other black kid walks into my room, and we're still friends to this day. Jan 24th, 1989: Drove a couple hours to 9:30 club to see them live.
