Love that voice. I grew up with her music. The thing I don't understand is why she looks so much as if she is Native if she isn't really. And I wonder if in some weird way she convinced herself that she is.

The Chairman of the Board, Bill Schnee recorded this song. He mentioned in his book that he "cut in" fills around the changes during the final master Cool! I love recording my music and when I connect the listening of a song with the process of recording it, I get insights of how Pros operate. Thanks for sharing. 12/28/24

This is excellent. I just recently discovered this album while making a comprehensive and chronological Bob Dylan covers playlist. I wish I knew of this group and album decades ago! In case anyone is interested, the playlist is here: kzbin.info/aero/PLoptx_QotyOxCvbVP1867y9RlPAI1TnvX&feature=shared

Thank you so much for uploading this album. I was able to listen to it again. It reminds me of my younger days.

I listened to this album over and over in my early twenties on cassette tapes until they wore out. Now I can listen to it anytime on the internet, which is a blessing.

It's such a blessing to be able to listen to songs recorded on old cassette tapes in this modern age.

I used to rent it from a record store, record it on a cassette tape, and listen to it until it wore out. Now I can listen to it online. Thank you very much.

I think this song totally sounds like something you could have heard on alternative College radio in the 80s.

As Roger says, the Best Byrds line up.
@michaelpatton548Ай бұрын
The best LIVE line-up. They never made records as good as the original five. "Dr. Byrds" came closest, but "Mr. Tambourine Man" through "Sweetheart Of The Rodeo" are the undisputed classics. Most were made with McGuinn, Clark, Crosby, Hillman & Clarke.

If one listens to Marshall Crenshaw's songs, he's an underrated (waaaay underrated) guitarist. Just listen to the solo on this song and some of his others. Great song!!!!!

Keep in mind Bobby's mother and grandmother and family were up front in the crowd. A homecoming for him. They played several songs after the show. All good. Bobby was a full member and founder with EC of Derek and the Dominos

With all respect Led Zeppelinwas much bigger. They were gods. The faces are good but only Ron Wiod was their star. Led Zep were 4 stars of incredible talent.
@michaelpatton5482 ай бұрын
I wasn't looking to compare Faces to Led Zeppelin by posting this album, so I'm not really getting your comment. I've never heard anyone claim that Faces were in the same league as LZ. Their lower stature is a given that we all understand, including the musicians themselves from both bands. That said, I would think that Rod Stewart would be considered a major "star", wouldn't you? Peace.
