I am thinking to buy a set up with 7500f and 7800xt would u recommend smthing? its going to be my first set up i was using laptop like 4 5 years and its so insufficient

@erdemekici3948 7500F and 7800xt is a good price to performance combo, but with new cards arriving next year, I would wait on buying the GPU.

I could not agree more with you but the marketing is doing their part of the job pretty good, obviously the x3d are mostly for the 1% stability which is pretty cool to keep your gameplay smooth

It is the X3D that allows my AM4 platform to match the 7600X in cpu performance for less than $160usd. I see no need to upgrade to the AM5 platfrom any time soon if prices and availability remain as they are.

@@Brad-p1c yes. A 5800x3d is basically the same as a 7600X. It makes no sense to upgrade. But somebody with lets say a ryzen 3600 might want to, so they can get ddr5 ram and have upgrade path for more cpu beyond the current am4 limit. With that said, GPUs are what matter for gaming and if you have a decent cpu like the 5600 or newer, any GPU you throw on it should be fully maximized, with the exception of a 4090, and 7900xtx.

I recommend you watch the recent Hardware Unboxed video on 4K CPU benchmarks. Even I was surprised by how many games showed a difference between the 9800X3D and slower parts despite being a very GPU-bound resolution (so applies more so to 1440p). I agree the 7600X is great for value, but it would be incomplete to not warn people of the potential of it aging very fast with newer and more CPU-demanding games (I say all this as a 7950X + 4090 4K gamer and even then my CPU is sometimes bottlenecking the 4090 whereas the much cheaper X3D parts would not)

@@ColdHeartTV Its all about budget. If you have $1000, you need to decide what do you want more, strong gpu, strong cpu, or balance.

The way the games are get sub optimized i think this card is good for 1440p.. some games in 4k. For productivity and ia i think you need the cuda cores.

it is 20% faster and cost like 25% more, why even mention it ? i play 1440p high Refresh rates so i perfer the Rx 7900xtx over the Rx7900xt i have right now a Rx 7800xt and a Rx 7900xtx and i can say it is worth it if you want to crank up the FPS a little bit but the RTX 4080 super is not worth it cost around 50-60% more then the Rx 7900xt and deliver same or less FPS then the Rx7900xtx and who care about RT when the most played games on this planet dont have RT.

@allxtend4005 i have the 7900xt and i love every bit of it,, dont care how fast and worth the xtx is,i had the budget for this one and so i got it 🤷‍♂️
