There isn’t any bug with the perk as far as I’m aware, it only effects us when we are below 33% health. It’s just a great back up to have, as well as the black prince armour. Even though I stayed close to 100% health the whole time, you may get caught unaware in game and someone hits you hard before you can get your repair buoys out and they’ll get you below 33%. Plus some boss attacks can hit really hard and drop you below 33%, like the mega lestari for example. I’ve gone for a overall healing build for all situations so it makes it much easier to use. I hope this makes sense? 😊

The weapon options are your choice :) only the “Little Grace” weapon is important for the build. Dardanelles are a great choice if you prefer them 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

Hi Luca, I’m using the zamzama 3 and fire bombard 3 on the sides, zamzama 3 on the rear and scurlock long 9’s on the front. But the weapons choice doesn’t matter, as long as you have “Little Grace” in the auxiliary position 😊

Hmmm sort of sounds like they may have been cheating, unless they have a new furniture piece that I haven’t heard of?? There was a bug/glitch getting around where people wouldn’t take damage until the bug/glitch fixed itself. So could have also been that. Were they in a Barque?

The easiest way is if you have heaps of pieces of 8 then you can buy the resource bundles from the black market and then refine them. If you don’t have the pieces of 8 to spend then it makes it much harder. Do you know about tagging any resource, for example “wood pitch” in your codex and then it shows you on your map where to collect it? Also fighting the bosses is great for resources to drop. I was thinking of doing a video on resource collection, so I’ll get onto that! Also lots of players sell resources or trade it for other resources. (I just copied this response from your question on my other video as they are the same answers 😊 )

What are some of the items you can no longer get?

You may be able to get La potence from the legacy cache at the black market. But if not I would switch to either port or starboard extra 10% damage

You can get the carronades by buying the “legacy cache” from the black market, however it isn’t guaranteed you’ll get it 100% of the time

No one grinds for the materials everything can be bought on the black market

I have released earlier build videos for the ships that don’t involve any upgrades if you want to check them out on my channel :)

You can only equip one “major” furniture piece on a ship at a time :) it doesn’t matter what rarity the furniture is. You can have 3 purple and 3 green pieces equipped as long as only one of them is a major furniture piece. I hope this clears it up for you :)

@@gusomajic I have no problem getting him to the mid point pretty much with minimal damage taken it's just after that he goes complete aggro and just frame traps and spams unblockable moves. Mind you I'm playing on Give Me Story. There's just honestly no entertainment value in designs as such. It's as I've previously stated if I wanted to play a "Souls like" game I would play a Souls like game. I've played every entry in the franchise and can say they're straying further and further away from what made GOW what it was. These whole new sigil puzzles, ridiculously pointless backtracking just to pad the game and targeting system that feels like it was designed by a 4 year old is disappointing to say the least. Think I'm honestly done investing in GOW, even the story was mediocre at best.

@@manuelsantana4822 I feel your pain. The mini boss checkpoints setting allows you to restart the fight from the 2nd half of his health, whilst you get to be at full health. It can be a big help :)

What is your second option for the armor because what you just mentioned on here and they don't carry it no more unless you have to buy it from some vendor

Look at the ship "Upgrades" at the shipwright. Hold Triangle (on PS5) to select "preview" upgrades. It will allow you to look at what each of the 6 upgrade levels will give you for any chosen ship. As you scroll through you will see an upgrade (its in different spots for different ships) that indicates base ship level will be increased from 5 to 6. This will immediately turn your level 12 ship into a 13 without changing your gear.

At the shipwright you can now upgrade your ships 6 more times. These upgrades unlock new perks and extra furniture slots. Once you fill those extra furniture slots your ships should easily make it to rank 13 :) Your ships can’t get higher then rank 13 at this stage.

@@gusomajic I'm betting Ranks 13, 14 and 15 will come from large ships, when they can figure out how to have a bigger deck crew without lag. They'll probably start out around rank 7 or 8 for a max 15 build. 🤔

Level 14 isn't available yet, any ship can currently be upgraded to level 13 ( except the dhow ) There is a perk available when upgrading ships that increases the base ship level to 6 and allows additional furniture ( 6 furniture ) to be equipped. That lets you reach rank 13 pretty easily

Nice work! How are you taking such little damage without bracing? There is a bug currently that makes players invincible (taking barely any damage), but it eventually goes back to normal. You could be experiencing that? 🤔

@@gusomajic It probably is a bug, cause half way through a couple of fights, I started taking heavy damage. But most of the time, hardy any. Torpedos however have no effect on me at all. I'm thinking the Raised Quarterdeck may play a big part in that.

@@gusomajic Just posted a video showing me fighting 4 rank 5 ships. Took a little damage at the start, then nothing. Short fight, but I took their hits without bracing and without moving. Repair cost, 6 silver. 🤣

@@annalines9260 yeah the Brig feels like a bit of an all rounder, it’s hard to find something it’s really good at. I’m currently working on a build, basing it around the infernal maw, endless requiem and using the Brigs high mobility. It will be my next build video :)

I want to suggest a sloop video. The upgrades make the sloop an absolutely broken ship. Getting 50% broadside damage boosts, 40% boosts to structure damage and 50% chance to explode 150m around any attack for 1500 damage with explosive weapons, paired with good furniture you could hit almost 70% increased structure damage, and absolutely laugh at any forts as you zip around on the small ship. I've used it to solo every world boss, easily. Especially against le pest as you are nimble to avoid every gas bubble.

You may find Gna to be easier, lots of people have said that :) but I found Gna to be harder! She was so damn fast

What makes you think it’s not a great build for the Sambuk? Have you got another build you think is better for the sambuk? I test all of my builds before posting them, so I know they all work. No bull 💩 here

@gusomajic yeah it's pretty crazy with a flat 10% damage boost and 8% structure boost. Paired with powder kegs it's hilarious.

The only reasons I could think of right now is maybe those ships are assigned to a manufactory? As any ship at manufactories won’t show up for upgrades. Or maybe you don’t have the materials needed to upgrade the sambuk and barque so it isn’t highlighting them?

You can always use the “track” feature at the carpenter to find the location of any furniture piece blue print. If there is no blue print available it will tell you where you need to buy the piece from

The best way to find the blueprint for any furniture (including volatile fuel 1), is to go to the carpenter in either Sainte-Anne or Telok Penjarah and scroll through the different furniture pieces and if you see one you like press the “track” button (on PS5 it is square) this will then show you where to find that blueprint. The volatile fuel blue print is from Telok penjarah :)

You can’t buy it from A vendor, you can only get lucky and get it from some of the convoys. Perilous path of profits and alliance of convenience are known to have it :)

The Barque is a great ship. You can get the twin winch ballista from either of the black markets in Sainte-Anne or Telok Panjarah. And the scrapper station blueprint can be bought from the Parujar's Cry outpost. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
