DJI are very clever, a lot of what the Mini 5 will have will be mostly software based , battery tech I can’t see any real progress within the time frame, any new software should be available for the 4 pro, nothing stopping DJI from charging you for the upload if you want additional features , Parrot done this ? For me nothing wrong with camera quality on the 4 or 2 or 3 unless your flying commercial you don’t need it, most people watch footage on crap tablets and phones, before you buy ask yourself do you really need it !

OK so lest start with we are not going to see a mini five pro for a few years the mini 4 pro is only 6 months old... we will see a mini 4 and maybe a mini 4 se before we see a mini 5 so any questions at this point is just missing in the wind. If you wanna make a guess at what drone we will see next will be an o4 air unit followed buy an air 3s in Aug~Sept followed by a mavic 4 in November~December and after a few variations of mavic 4 and then an air 4 then we might see a mini 5. Like I said don't expect an mini 5 any time soon.

Kontent Mafia, have you ever owned a drone? The internal memory is only for emergency use, and no one expects to use it normally. My mini 3 pro already has over 40 minutes flight time with the high capacity batteries. I think the difference between a 1 inch sensor, like i have in my mavic 3 pro, and a smaller one, like my mini 3 pro, is splitting hairs. I would consider these "improvements ", as very minor, and would not buy it if i already had a decent mini.

I've been planning to get the DJI Mini 4 Pro, but now I'm considering how overpriced the newer version might be. It will likely cost around $2,000 with a 2-year warranty and additional kits. I would just go with the 4 if everything on the new version is overpriced.

I hope we get a werticall wide-lens and control with a mavic 3 pro remote control, difficult travel with two remote controls

very wrong approach. Fenix is a real outdoor Atheltes watch. Apple is an other level for different target people. Fenix should stay with the MIP no matter what the fashion is. There is a reason we buy the Fenix and this is the MIP.

15fps is no where near remarkable in any way shape or form, we don`t need a new body with more old specs, Nikon have to step up to challenge other makers and give nikon APS-c users what they want and will be willing to pay for. It needs to do more than 15fps canons does and Fujifilm's X-H2s does up to 40fps with a stacked sensor, So if Nikon are serious about giving D500 users and aps-c fans a decent prosumer APS-C wildlife camera they have a lot to live up to or it won`t sell like the D500 did, a £1500 -£2000consumer spec camera won`t make it there are loads of low spec consumer cameras on the market We need a real PROSUMER APS-C king. Personally If they could match the fuji with a stacked sensor at 26 0r 33mp and 15 mechanical, 20 & 30 fps electronic RAW I would definitely be willing to pay up to £2700.00 for one to replace my D500.

most important to me is: Internal ND, Open Gate and 8K. The Body might be 1-2cm deeper, all videographers wouldn't mind it. If its reasonable the can make both FX3 and FX6 <mark two than some hundrets higher on another price point. Also a RAW format that fits into Davinci Resolve is absoltley essential. Otherwise many will swith elsewhere. Looking forward to it. Need to buy a bunch of new cameras.
