Hey mate, I’m from Australia and sail a 12ft skiff, do you think the headmount would stay on through multiple capsizes? Cheers

Cheers, It's been about 3 years now, how's it holding up? Using 5200 on anything other than a keel attachment point to a the hull of a keelboat is interesting. 4000/4200 would be stronger than the plastic lid or ring but still comes off mechanically with some patience. 5200 isn't coming off gelcoat, the gelcoat its coming with it and and inspection port seems like something that must be replaced every so often, like when a knee goes through it. I would be very concerned about that. Have also seen installations not use screws. If the inner ring has a liberal amount of of adhesive it provides a significant bond area without screws and eliminates several potential water ingress points. I've done this with a 505 on the side tanks and never had an issue with the ports. Thank you for posting this publicly and if you reply, thank you again. It's helpful and getting a lessons learned update is very valuable. Feel free to pick apart my comments, comparing experiences is the best way to learn from others.

5200 is still going strong but I would recommend 4200 instead.
