@@modestgrower2017 yeah when you find a balloon like that, it’s usually saying all the thermals and stuff pull right there for a lot of deer bed and hang out and feed. If you can get close to that spot you’ll probably end up shooting a buck or something. I also saw that on a few hunting channels, preferably the hunting beast.

I looked at my video. It looks like I hit high in shoulder and forward. Kinda where some would say no man’s land is. But it sounds like I hit shoulder bone. Everyone saying I hit high forward and shoulder and possibly hip bone and deflected arrow. Because the blood I found wasn’t like oh yeah he’s dead. It was just oh yeah he’s hit that’s about it. Only had blood for about 75 yards and it was hard tracking only finding small drops at some spots then just stops

I’m saying deer is gonna live

He didn’t act like he was hurt badly or hit hard just scared and couldn’t figure out what happened

My season is actually pretty good I’m seeing a bunch of deer this year I missed a big 8 and then I hit a nice sized 8 but not a good hit lost what little blood I found after 75 yards and just stopped. Searched for hours. With no luck. I hit high and forward he was quartering away kind like top of shoulder.

I believe there is a bigger buck there don’t know if you heard in the video or not a big buck roar? He’s chasing a doe down in the next coal cut from me. Hunting old coal mines cuts. Yes I’m glad it was a clean miss but I’m still upset at myself cuz he should of been a dead deer

@@BackMountainOutdoors trust me brother I understand that one but at least now you have a little bit more learning experience right there if you hunt the same spot again and you get another deer in that area you know to aim a how to aim for the next time . But don't worry brother just pick yourself back up go after a better one or you might get a chance at him again but don't worry your back mountain saddle club subscribe as you're all here for you we have confidence you'll get a bigger buck and we know you'll probably see that buck again and you'll make a awesome shot on him and put him down ✌️🫶🏹🦌
