I worked at the MCA for 3 years and it was an amazing experience. This was my second class at the MCA and there is not a better place to turn at risk kids into productive members of society. Unfortunetly, some did not listen choose to leave the MCA and became statistics. The fact that the MCA has 90% success rate it speaks volumes about the program. I just feel sorry about that 10% that fail to compleate the program.

6:00 if any of you are wondering why he failed, when the instructor/commandant/platoon sergeant calls any kind of "dress right, DRESS" command, he should have been looking ober his shoulder like everyone else except the person furthest to the line's right, because they have no reason to look over their shoulder because they set the distance.

Ok what branch is this because in army jrotc, you can’t salute without a flag or officer in front of you, and you can’t execute an about, right, or left face at a half face

I just noticed comments were turned off in the videos of my “class” which I’ll say I have a homie of mine going and I don’t want him going through what y’all put me through it hurts me thinking about it and he’s exactly like me I know for sure he will do the exact same and leave which he just shouldn’t go period teenage years are the best times of your life and they are taken because you graduated early with nothing to show besides you weren’t smart enough to go to a real school but I’m so glad I quit I’m figuring out myself right now and I’m happy atleast making music was just a hobby for me but turns out it’s going way further than that so I guess I thank you for tucking me off so bad I followed my dreams even more ahahahah

You really bragging about how much you screwed up your life in the comments of a yearbook video 🤣. I haven't gone , but I plan to go and hope that this is my opportunity to do something with my life. If you had stayed long enough maybe you would have learned something. Then again, it's all about perspective some people just can't handle the stress. It is stating on their website that you must be mentally stable and capable to join the program and deal with its stress.

The academy really wasn’t that bad, I actually really miss it. I doubt I know you but judging by your essay, you where most likely the main cadet on D-Squad for what I’m guessing talking back/complaining and giving up. But oh well I got my diploma.

God I miss JROTC so much! Knockout was the shit but my CSM had it out for me so he would always do his damnedest to eliminate me 😂 the one time I won knockout he came up to me and said “Damn Ammons, you finally got the best of me” I’ll never forget that. Shout out to Command Sergeant Major Cooper!

My class we got in trouble for not getting into the shower (After the girls would leave tampons in the shower) (They even went pee in the shower) Of course we would have to stand in the shower though, the shower would get clogged and be over our ankles, we had hardly anytime to shower and we was not allowed to go to the bathroom. If we asked to go to the bathroom the Cadre was really unreasonable about it. We had to immediately be on there schedule. They forced us to use lice shampoo ( It made our hair fall out ) we did not have enough time, to wash it out. I myself sprained my ankle and they would not let me see the nurse (because it was a weekend and she wasn’t there) they did nothing about it and even now I have problems with my ankle. Given the school does some good but not knowing what your going into is the worst. I was belittled by some of the Cadre I was called fat (Because I could not run fast enough) I was also called “Disgusting” by Mr Juristy. They expected us to be in shape, calling us out when we could not keep up with the other kids (Who in fact are different people) This school needs major work. I’m ashamed to say this but when my parents picked me up my hair was moldy and falling out I stank horribly, In fact my parents could not ride in the car with me because of how badly I smelled. The stall doors was eventually taken off the hinges as a form of punishment. I could not send letters to my parents because I was on D-Squad ( For refusing to run on a sprained ankle ) They did not allow us if we was on D-Squad to have a phone call or send out or receive mail..I had my friend send my letter to my family using her name, So my parents could know what was going on and would come get me. Girls was not allowed to shave. We did not have privacy even in the bathrooms, when we would open letters we have to shake them out. The Barricks are certainly not as clean as they are in video or pictures. During lunch we are treated like animals Cadre men scream at us while eating “Chew! Chew! Chew!” If we do not eat they think we are starving ourself when simply they upset us to the point it is hard to eat. I hope to spread the word to parents who do not believe their kids when they say such things about MCA because everything they say and that I’m saying is the truth. There is far more than what I’ve described, going on in the school. I’m very certain that if you ask someone that left they would describe these things.
