I wish this song was true. I found my girlfriend in bed with a friend 30 years ago and it still hurts when I think about it. She has 6 kids now and I doubt she remembers.

Those performances from early CTTS were ruthless, sadly i couldn't see them live in their prime, they can't keep up the speed and energy from early performances, and it's completly understandable, this band is in my heart, and i glad i got to be born in time to listen to them.

Their songs are so unorthodox and that why they are so amazing. Ben is an amazing songwriter! And man, I miss Chris Walla 🥹 They were a perfect pair! Til death do us part!

I can’t get over how perfect the drummer is! Man I found death cab by hearing marching bands of Manhattan in my car when I was real depressed and I drove straight to Walmart and bought that album and I’ve been a huge fan ever since! Not a lot of people like them here in Texas but their music is so perfect to me. I hit right when I heard one song I knew I wanted to hear everyone of their song and they did not disappoint. Plans really had a huge impact on me. It’s just a splendid album!

Song will always remind me of my first girlfriend when I was 16. We spent an amazing summer together and experienced what we thought was love. At the end of summer I had to move away and things were never the same. Even then that summer will be deeply engrained in my memory and this song will remain the perfect and melancholic portrayal of it.
