This is a really neat project. I didn't realize the usefulness of different acoustic carrier frequencies on the same FM radio frequency. However, they would interfere if transmitted simultaneously. It seems that frequency division multiplexing would be possible in this application if amplitude modulation were used by the radio transceivers instead of FM.

I have a suggestion that would be really helpful for soldiers, police and anyone using it, please allow regular photo map overlay (from the gallery), instead of downloading 20gb of data someone can just take a screenshot of google maps and overlay it with existing atak/itak map, when they go offline they can just use that screenshot for navigating, it's better than nothing, also allowing regular photos to be loaded in to atak/itak means easily adding interior overlay. I also hope that you'll bring the taksat function to the ios version..and also maybe regular meshtastic and the hammer plugin (if possible).

Great videos for learning the software! However, I am having a hard time finding a guide on setting up my own server. No guides I could find on the items I need, how to set up, etc. Example: I have a dell optiPlex, how to set u ATAK on that, as well as the devices to get a real idea of setting up a server and ATAK on the fly or in the field. What amazes me is - with the file size bloating to closer to half a gig - it doesn't even import or try and grab Google or Apple maps to provide at least a rudimentary mapset to begin with. This would discourage most lower tech people instantly. Out the can you have a lot of work to do, which for a novice could be hours. I'm not a fan of WinTAK for this reason.
