A fascinating piece of film history. worth a watch and a few moments to consider the fact that humans are still evolving and cultural stereotypes are deeply ingrained. This woman is multi talented and deserved a more dignified opportunity.Perhaps she got it? Show me more.

Jerry Lee "Smoochie" Smith is on the keyboards. Note: two Sun artists are named "Jerry Lee". Smoochie wrote Last Night and sold 1M copies. Lewis is famous for Whole Lotta Shakin', Great Balls of Fire, and others.

@TheSunVault OK apologies I now get where you were going, I was presuming you were meaning Jerry Lee Lewis.
@TheSunVaultАй бұрын
@@rockinbilly4046 Yes, imagine how confusing it was with two great piano players at SUN, both named Jerry Lee.... hence Jerry Lee Smith was called "Smoochie" and Lewis was called "The Killer" because he knock'em dead on stage.

Have seen Chuck live, along with Little Richard, the Temps, Little Anthony, Frankie Valli, I can go on about the hundreds of acts over the years, Chuck was the most RUDE of all , I can understand his pick up band playing in the wrong key, and his guitar out of tune, I shut him off everytime I hear him

Over 30 years I have recorded content with various devices, and formats at various aspect ratios. We have chosen to convert all of these into a modern standard universal format as opposed to having a mixed bag of various sizes and formats scattered across our site. You may prefer to present your content differently.

Very difficult to understand what they're saying, so thank you for the captions. I think it's a combination of the audio quality and their accents and cadence

Yes, two Southern Boys with heavy accents, and sounds like there could be a bit of alcohol involved in Jerry's case or maybe he just came from the dentist. After living in Memphis for 30+ years you get to decipher the accent after a while.
