hey how can i record my plays in nba 2k14? and nfl 2k5? I have some INSANE plays to show.
@NBALiveSeriesCenter16 сағат бұрын
OBS is a free recording software for PC, you could try that. Your graphics card may also have integrated recording software. For example, my AMD Radeon 6650 XT has recording software called Radeon Re-Live that comes with the driver updates. Mirillis Action is another great one, which I use often. It's $20. If you are talking about recording on console, using an Elgato or another capture card will do the trick, or if the game is for Xbox One/PS4 or Series X/PS5, you can share your clip directly from your console. When you are ready to submit your highlights, you can send them to me via PM on the NLSC, or post them in the Top 10 Plays of the Week thread in the featured section of the NLSC forum, or send me a DM on Twitter @dee4threeG - Derek

The coolest thing about this game is that Dennis Rodman would have different colored hair every time he played, lol. It was missing MJ and Barkley (like most games of the time), but there was a good player creator/editor that allowed you to easily include reasonable facsimiles of them.

As a 17 year old Raptors fan in late 1995, I was so happy to have a clip of a Raptor doing something good in this intro. It must have been in pre-season because the game came out in November, I believe. It was Alvin Robertson.

Context around the game matters. For NBA Live 2001, that dunk in traffic is not easy to pull off. It being VC, and being on multiple defenders, made it earn the spot. The block on NBA Street was nice, but it's the overall play, including the players reaction after being blocked, that elevated it in the countdown. Great job to everybody who was featured in the countdown, awesome highlights - Derek

@NBALiveSeriesCenter I think it might of been nba live 98 or 99 and free throws were non existence or really hard to come by is probably better to say so if you got an And1 it was a big deal back then

Definitely mate, number one was something I've never seen before! Feels good to be getting back into basketball video gaming and making an appearance in the top 10 is nice to see 😊 As much as iam enjoying nba 2k25 il always be a live fan boy at heart and seeing plays like that from Carter and Westbrook really are fun to watch and definitely the nostalgia feeling I get watching the early 2000's nba live's. I really wish EA would bring Live back I think the community is ready and needs something to rival 2k and there greedy ways

yoo bro how can i play the game on my laptop please help this one its my fav one
@NBALiveSeriesCenter17 күн бұрын
What kind of laptop do you have? NBA Live 2005 still runs great under Windows 10 and will install as normal. If you don't have an optical drive in your laptop, you can always pick up a USB DVD-RW drive fairly cheaply to play old games that came on disc. - Andrew

@NBALiveSeriesCenter I have a Lenovo 7i its almost brand new i got it in 2023 by the way but my question was how can i download the game if a dont have the CD? This game was beutiful and i just want to remember the good old days one last time cause im sick you know
@NBALiveSeriesCenter16 күн бұрын
You'd need an external/USB optical drive, they're not very expensive. Just plug one in, and you'll have a drive to run CD games again. NBA Live 2005 doesn't use the old copy protection that's no longer supported by Windows 8 onwards, so it should run fine without any extra steps.

@Bobaluga919 күн бұрын
IMO..... The only way you can "fix" the 3 point issue would be to make the dunk worth 3 points AND remove the corner 3. The corner 3 literally isn't the same distance as everywhere else and it is too big of a hole in defenses on the dribble drive. You can't send help D because of the corner 3. This change alone would COMPLETELY rebalance the game. I hate to use Slamball as a reference but they do judge layups and dunks differently simply based on if the player touched the rim. This would be easy to do in the NBA. I know making a dunk worth 3 seems controversial but, so was the original addition of the 3 point line.
