Great video. I remember when I was a sophomore in high school we had a first-year Spanish teacher who was a great teacher, very passionate about her job and a hard worker. There was a fight after school and one of the fighters pulled out a gun and shot the other. The shooter then proceeded to run back towards the school which was a few blocks away. Her classroom was a portable near the student parking lot He made his way to her class as he was one of her students. He asked her for a ride home. She had no idea He had been involved in a fight or a shooting So she gave him a ride. Only to find out the next day what happened. She was fired. We finished the remainder of the year with substitute teachers. It was really sad all around Because she was one of my favorite teachers. Her name was Ms Osaba. I have a lot of respect for teachers. My mother taught special ed I know the amount of work and hours she put in, all for the love she had for her students.God bless you.

I like your ideas and games. At that point, they may need the translation, but I prefer not to use much translation. Maybe presenting something in content helps them to remember instead of memorizing.

God I wish my Spanish teacher was like you. He just had us come in and repeat after him. Then we would just write verbs over and over again using his guidebook. It was literally just copy and paste for 2 years😭😭

I would like to know more about your warmups. You have them submit the Google Form daily? Is the link on GClasroom? Do you grade it? What if they are absent?
@karengonzalez6536 Жыл бұрын
Hello:) I usually am very relaxed about warm-ups and just look at their participation. But I'm thinking of next year being a little more strict on the accuracy of the answers. 🙂

Wow! Thank you for being vulnerable and honest. I agree with each point you made and unfortunately, I don't know if there is anything college classes can do to adequately prepare you. It's the sort of experience you just have to go through to fully understand. I hope you have support. Thanks for sharing!

@karengonzalez6536 Жыл бұрын
