Its a catch 22 almost, go in with the hand digger and no one bats an eye, but it does worse, go in with a big shovel and all the attention is on you but it does better You didnt really show how to dig a good plug with the hand digger yet you said you use it often I only have a hand digger at this point, but I have some money coming in soon maybe I'll order the predator Phoenix from the states But I recently dug about 30 holes in an area where they hold ribfest, I hope my holes heal in the next 30 days as ribfest is august 18th The area has sprinklers, so I hope that helps, but ive not sure if the sprinklers Run every day I found a chain in the ribfest grounds that I think its 8k, but my friend think its gold filled and not solid, I hope to drop by the jewelers soon and see what they say

1. Dont dig near the spiral jetty. Dick on the opposite side of the pier posts. 2. Fill your holes back in. 3. Leave no trace.

I remember going here when I was a child- on the way to topaz and trilobite dig sites. I remember the ladder was there then, and there was a smaller hole nearby that I remember too. We'd see wild mustangs. That was on the way in the late 1970s. I've always wondered where it was located. Thank you!

Are or were there mines in that area? I see the old ladder down there; thought it might be related to an old mine collapsing.

Awesome. What specific brand of polisher are you using, and have you had any issues with getting "zapped" with elec while polishing?
@RockyMountainProspectorRyan2 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure of the brand but it was an electric rotary polisher for countertops. It did have a water attachment and did shock me quite a bit. I guess it’s just part of the game.

What river are u in. I'm gonna be dredging here in idaho next week. I'll be on the south fork boise. Edit. Nevermind the hot spring gave it away.. they wouldn't let me dredge that river this year. Bummer

Hey Ryan... what kind of permitting process do you gotta go through to dredge in Idaho ? How difficult is it ? Thinking about getting a claim somewhere in Idaho.
@theskoolster92823 жыл бұрын
You just need to go to the state office and get a dredge permit and a water permit. They are both very inexpensive and only take a short amount of time to get

While this is s harmless thing to do to any common, low value coin, I recommend refraining from doing this to any coin who's value you're not sure of. In the world of rare coins, a shiny coin is worth nothing it if you've even made a tiny scratch or change to the originality of the coin in the process. Cool experiment nevertheless.

Good vid, good info, but your speech at the door could use some improving. I would calm down, slow down how fast you talk. Stop saying you're not trying to sell them something...that's a lie, you are selling them on the idea of them letting you...metal detect their property. I wouldn't bring up selling.
