While I prefer modern AU logic as it at least makes a system for some more complex AU's, like for people who might want to make SwapFellSpin or SpinShiftShift for some crazy unfathomable reason I cannot comprehend... I don't think it really matters much in the end, as it's just a name, and the people who get salty about modern logic being used or not being used should just do something far simpler and far more convenient, which is just to call it what the owner of the specific AU or AT take wants to call it. That would solve a lot more problems than just trying to argue over stuff like Dustswap and Swapdust.

Unnecessarily, but u could tell more about the changes each version brought into dusttrust. Like also Urnix being the one to create Papyrus encounter. And show something of it at least, if there even was something. Could've also shown how 2nd Kassm era dusttrust looked like. Could've split golden era part into "pre-leak" of Sawsk ownership and into a "post-leak" of multiple unofficial takes. Also maybe more of pre-leak's unofficial dusttrust takes examples?

Why can't Dusttrust just be Dustbelief but Swap!Sans istg

“swapdust” was originally called Dustswap since uh I think since swap was at the end (under”swap”) and tale was put at the end so people said Dustswap, same with felldust, people call it Dustfell, it’s mainly what you prefer., I heard that Dustswap was renamed to Dustswap: butterfly effect, to avoid people being confused I’m guessing.

The "dustswap" mentioned is "Dustswap: butterfly affect" meaning its no longer actually dustswap, dustswap was reverted dusttale Underswap edition but using fanon swap papyrus as its base (no the cringy one, the one that has the same stats and hp as UT sans), where swapdust uses the canon swap papyrus as base. This change happened because D4n was flamed about his au naming scheme (I love underdust!!!!) and eventually left, either way it doesn't matter what's what, the original dustswap (aka Underswap with dust) came out in 2016 and d4n to my knowledge was never given ownship to be able to change all the stuff he did.

I’m sorry but someone has to say it. I’m tired of all of these swapswapdustfellouterinsanity aus its like people just take something original and slap a label to combine them with other works like it hasn’t been done before. And I know one shouldn’t go off art by it’s name but for gods sake just think of something else instead of just adding another word or switching them around. It’s like if toby were to make an Undertale 2 and instead of making a new title he named it “TALEUNDER” like damn. Sorry for the yapping rant but you know I’m right.
