how did you get that wide wiiiiiidde look with the sirui 1.6x ?
@dimistudios20714 ай бұрын
Hi! So the lens itself is a 35mm with a 1.6x squeeze. The reason it looks so incredibly wide is the addition of the anamorphic adapter from Sirui. It basically just threads onto the front of the 35mm 1.6x, and brings the squeeze up to 2x. You can thread that adapter onto any spherical lens as well which is pretty cool. (only 1.25x if it's on a spherical lens. Hope that makes sense!

I´m happy to get a Q6 Max in ISO DE Version. It is a very nice keyboard and mine is the fully assembled and I love it. It is heavy, has a nice feeling and doesn´t look like a cheap RGB gaming keyboard. The software is "ok" and you need to know, that the keyboard only is supported in wired mode to change the Keys etc. 100% recomendation ;)

Thank you! I have been looking through the bewildering array of switch options on their site. I saw the Oil Kings and wondered what the hell those were. Do you type mostly? I type emails about half the day and want to upgrade. Would you recommend these switches for that?
@dimistudios20715 ай бұрын
Emails in the morning, and then editing video content. Love the way it sounds, they are just creamy. Had it for 4 months now and I feel like I'm hacking the mainframes yo. Try the oil kings. Then switch it up. That's what custom keyboards are for! Getting tired of 1 sound and then trying something else out. Happy thocking, friend.

@@dimistudios2071 thank you! I have Baby Kangaroos on order right now because I am trying to replicate the incredible Mac II keyboard (late 80’s), which I fell in love with the first time I typed on it. I’m sure I’ll be ordering Oil Kings soon though, because obviously I need a new home keyboard too… and a travel keyboard… and an emergency backup keyboard… and, okay, I’ve got a problem… Thanks again!

I bought the exact same configuration (with different colors but Q6 Max, oil king and KSA caps) and it’s nice to hear how it will feel, before it arrives. I wanted to have a relatively quiet and classic 90s keyboard sound and I am glad to find this video. As you stated, maybe the only one downside is spacebar but I probably am too lazy to modify that, anyway, thanks for the video! 😄

Let's say I'm not a psychopath that wants "thock" on their keys. What would one look for in a keycap paired with a 🟩green or 🟦 blue switch? This is my biggest fear is having my keyboard sound like someone is smothering it with a pillow
@dimistudios20717 ай бұрын
haha my friend, you can like whatever you want. What you're looking for is like click switches right? Oetemu Blues, Cherry MX Blues or like Razer Greens. Those will make you feel like a hacker out of the first matrix movie. I would just go to Best Buy and try out their Razer keyboards. They are all the opposite of the "pillow smothering" sound.
@Kelmorin7 ай бұрын
Haha😂 thank you. I've got my eyes on some switches I like, but the keycaps affect the sound too. I've heard keyboards where the red switches are tolerable and others not. Same switch but different sound. My fear is buying ones I don't like and not knowing until after assembly.
@dimistudios20717 ай бұрын
@@Kelmorin yah no doubt! I'm not super knowledgeable with keycaps. Typically the thicker you go, the damper they sound. So anything Double Shot or 1.6mm is heavy, but will give you a very "thick" sound. Check out Hipyo tech, this dude has done videos on literally everything. Then again, you can always return keycaps if you don't like them. Good Luck!
