Thank you! Currently it does 870 fps with a 180 grain bullet 310 fpe i shimmed the hammer spring a few mins ago and shot it and man its very loud and kicks harder now lol

I've always wanted to try my hand at casting my own slugs for my .30 cal aea challenger and .50 cal dragon claw air rifles. I've got some equipment to get first, but I'm definitely gonna give a shot.

I got into casting about 4 yrs ago after purchasing a Texan .308 rifle. Casting is not difficult and you can get started for well under $50 if you go about it in an old school way. You can use fire to melt your lead and heat your mold. Is it the best and easiest way to pump out high volume of slugs? No it’s not but you can get started. It works well for casting round ball as the molds are small and not complicated. Here’s my effort at “fire casting”. It clearly works. I primarily use a 10 pound bottom pour Lee pot. I also use wheel weights for my primary lead source. If you wish to purchase pure lead, roto-metals is a good source. If you fill you airgun with a tank you can remove the valve spring but if you use a hand pump the valve not going to seal it self. Fyi😉👍✌️💯

Yeah my valves don't use return springs and I have a big tuxing double piston compressor and a big scba tank

Lol yeah I'm only 120 pounds...lol but the more psi you feed it on the intake the harder it is to pump. What hand pump do you have?

I'm glad to see you coming along well in this sport. I figured you would get sick of the Shoebox, but I'm going to say this... save your money and get a real compressor. Get an Alkin and a good tank or 2. I know it's expensive, but cry once, buy once. As far as you've come in this sport, you need to invest in good equipment. Nice rifle. 👍🏽

I got it from a guy but you can get them on eBay expired cheap and fill them if you got your own 4500psi compressor. It's 4500psi and 14 cubic feet and I also got a 66cubic foot tank 45min SCBA tank 4500psi I love it.
