Deserved the win don't think it was a penalty after watching it a few times beautiful long strike and a tap in header just couldn't hold out if VAR was used think the penalty decision would have been overturned.

Ccccaaaarrrrect and how many times can Andy keep defending them seem to have more possession but final third is missing something in the long run he will be the one to pay although he is clearly a genuine guy.

How many times have Alloa lost a goal this season to the opposing teams very first attack.

As much as I like Andy as a manager and a man he seems to be defending his players to much the cannot keep conceding the 1st goal and then trying to fight back I know there is only 6 points between the wasps and top position but it could be a lot better.

Morgan Neill needlessly playing the Stenny forward onside for the 3rd goal just about summed up Alloa's performance.

Geez......what's with the losing lately? It's like the wheels have fallen off this team.

It was noticeable that Stenny defenders seem to be capable of clearing the ball to their own players, or into a space where their players can win it. Alloa defense just punt it aimlessly forward and hope that a teammate somehow gets to it first.

Totally unable to put two passes together without giving the ball away. Stenny showed far more ability and far better game plan. Think positive. Couldn't possibly be worse next week.

Can't understand why Andy isn't calling on young Nevans over the season to come off the bench and rescue points/win games. The last piece of action that Nevans had was a run from half way line , taking 4 players out the game with a great through ball for wee Kev which led to Sammo scoring. Boy looked good pre-season too, so surprised that he isn't getting more of an opportunity.

After todays result let's take some copium reliving last weeks away win. Great to see Donnelly continue his fine form!!! And taggs on target for 350!!!

Alloa were the better footballing side today. We need to develop the edge up front, missed chances cost us dearly. The match official wasn't great, but if we score goals, that doesn't matter. I hope I'm wrong, but it just doesn't look like challenging for and winning the league motivates the players at all. The gaffers right we need a bounce back winning run. Come on Alloa!!!!

Dumbarton need a cup run more than we do. I hope they get Celtic away next round. Great fight to get two goals back. Hopefully, tuesday will be the right result for Alloa in the league.

Alloa should have pressed on when qos had all their early replacements. Alloa seem to play a patient/passing Steve Clarke scotland style but we win more. We just need the attacking players to gel and find form, and more goals will come more often.

Think Andy was holding back in his interview even he knew Alloa were the better team with better chances could have been 3 or 4 on another day those chances were in but still a good result away from home and now top of league on our own but a very tight league where anyone can beat anyone cmon the wasps

Looking at that video it could have been double that score and some spectacular goals to boot,morrison in goal had some quality saves to keep a clean sheet well done the wasps keep it up let's see if we can do the pars at there own ground next week.

As I said after last week's game,it was probably the kick up the bum the wasps were needing 5 goals makes a good dent in the goal difference because this league is so tight anyone can beat anyone on the day,but we'll done the waspies.

I couldn't understand the penalty decision at the time.. now I know why...clearly no foul what so ever. The ref should be made to watch the video. For what it Is worth I think the ball did cross the line. I was standing next to the corner flag.

Hope Andy is not to loyal to some of his players. Roberts when fit will walk into a midfield role. Cawley & Scougall cannot create anything for the forward players & all Herthington can do is break up play but nothing else. A couple of decent loan players badly needed, but I guess that is out of the managers hands.(cost)

Do the SPFL ever monitor the performance of their referees? I wouldn't put that idiot in charge of a kiddies game in the school playground...

The referee certainly wasn't helped at the penalty by the Arbroath player going down squealing like a pig. It was just a block, not even a tackle.
