Mam in eliminating interferences to lateral excursions on working side the selective grinding should be on lingual incline of lingual upper cusp and buccal incline of buccal lower cusp. On balancing side it should be on buccal incline of upper lingual and lingual incline of lower buccal . The lower lingual does not come in contact on balancing side, so there is no need for selective grinding na mam. I have a doubt regarding this.please explain

We have to remove all interfering contacts on inclines. In lateral excursions, we grind the lingual incline of upper interfering cusp and buccal incline of lower interfering cusp. On balancing side, the BULL rule. The BULL rule or any other actually doesn’t specify the cusps. It just refers to inclines. First we eliminate balancing side interferences and then move to working side. Then again we have to check the balancing side. So in lateral excursions, we need to look both the side inclines simultaneously.
