Spoons are underutilized part of American meals. I went full Korean style (chopsticks and spoon) out of laziness for months until one of my friends came over to my apartment and was horrified how much of a bachelor pad it was and bought me household goods.

Pretty but not like this baby

I've been there. That first night is so hard. People can't understand if they haven't been there. Our daughter is in grad school now and is thriving and happy and very close with us and all her siblings. But even though she was in an orphanage, it was all she knew. Even though she didn't get the attention she needed, those were the only people she knew. Fear and grief... Lots of tears and all the things we normally did to comfort our children... We were strangers and she only got more and more upset. But each day got a little better and she started to blossom. I'm so glad you and your daughter found each other.
