She detracts from reality na walang influence nang iba. Go see 100 Years of Solitude and feel what embracing one’s culture feels like. I’m sorry this is so underwhelming for me. It does not do justice to show casing what was there before. Self loathing? What should we call it?

Nakita ko sa movie na to na pagan parin nga lang ang mga Filipino at si Bathala pa rin ang kanilang 'Diyos' but anyhow, I hope they make a sequel, then a prequel after that!!! Yung concept ay nandyan na! 😘 ❤ So happy na kahit mag-isa lang ako, naenjoy ko yung movie at nabago nito pagtingin ko talaga sa mga Filipino movie. Kitang-kita ko nga lang talaga na akala ko, nanonood ako ng Encantadia pero nasa real world.

Nanuod kami ng husband ko kahapon ng The Kingdom. Sayang ang pera at time namin. This is a very horrible movie. The concept is good I will it that. But it feels like a lowbudgeted, poorly researched film. Poorly excuted ang fight scenes feeling ko handheld camera lang ang gamit in one of the fight scenes kahit ang galaw at ang sakit sa mata. Hindi lumabas ang best ng mga actors, dahil ba sa script or sa directing? Hindi ko alam ng mga technical terms. I couldnt wait it to be finished, there were a lot of cringy dialogues. Sayang lang ang pera ko.

Piolo is a great actor, but to play the role of an outcast in this movie, seems unfitting. Agaw pansin pa rin tlga ung gandang lalaki niy kahit pinaitim at pinagmukha siyang mabaho. There are other good looking actors that I thought could be fit for the character of Sulu. I’d say Jericho Rosales would also be a good choice.
