Can both speaker pairs be used simultaneously in 1-in-2-out mode? If so, can I control the loudness of each pair using the knob on the unit?

Is the remote made any better than the HTA200 and can you at least be 12 or 15 feet away from the amp and still use it?

The one important thing barely anyone mentions about these Chinese tube amps is, they want 110 volts in only so will be using my variac to keep that in place also.

Warranty on this amp and for how long?

I would love to go full out,, straight up tube amp but they are horribly expensive. I think I could live with this amp for the price point and clean power output.

Well I think you sold me on this one. Sent the HTA200 back. It was having issues. Plus the specs are better on this amp.

most people are not be interested in passing audio through this device. We are only interested in looking at the VU meters. presumably I can just use the input to do this. by the way it's Douk not Doke.

I really need something like this, but agree it's overpriced. No doubt they could cost-reduce the thing...no VU meters, text-only screen. It's a weirdly useful niche. Step 1 - put your music library on a big ol' external drive. Step 2 - use a device to navigate and do DAC (or optical/coax) things to talk to your stereo. It really should just be a repackaging of a cheap MP3 player. The problem is that the form factors of other products are wrong (phones, MP3 players, laptops) or the navigation software is really bad or non-existent (AM/FM MP3 radios, DVD players). All the pieces are there, but evidently not enough interest to make a $50 box that looks OK. Naturally, these companies rarely seem to be able to deal with the combinations of file systems and brands of storage. Generally, it seems like anything that isn't a phone talking through Bluetooth or desktop PC audio gets short shrift anymore. It's surprising how bad user interfaces can be for audio files on different devices. Knowing that 'Freebird' is song number 1725 on your thumb drive (or hitting 'next' 1724 times) is sheer madness. The people who could really stand to up their navigation game here is manufacturers of tabletop radios. The MP3/WAV UI on something like a Sangean radio is laughable. Dunno if it's lack of care or lack of software engineers, somehow the Retekess V115 actually understands folders and still costs under $20. It's a shame that the $150 YamaSony receivers don't have USB support with a good UI, but they are probably avoiding a minefield of compatibility problems (and a few bucks in the bill of materials).

Hey, have you tested it with different tubes? DOUK AUDIO T8 Pro uses the 6H1N-BN is actually 6Н1П-ВИ soviet tubes. After some research I found some info on the Lampizator website (they are boutique audiophile company from Poland) ant their sound engineers say that basically there are 3 versions of this tube: 1. 6Н1П - standard; 2. 6Н1П-ВИ - prolonged life and durability, "impulse mode" intended (this is the one used in T8 PRO but Lampizator said that from all 3 models this is to be avoided for audio purposes); 3. 6Н1П-EВ - prolonged life and durability (about 5000 hours) plus lowest noise. So in my understanding the overall quality will only improve if the tubes are replaced with higher model (which is almost the same price) 6Н1П-ВИ --> 6Н1П-EВ Do I miss something ? Other suggestions to experiment with in terms of valves?

I have one of these, and I love it. Questions.... do you know where I can find replacement tubes? and can you please tell me your exact set up.... I just have mine hooked up to an xbox/ tv via optical (sounds the best) and I use a flash drive with top quality files... I paid more for tidal which is better sound quality than spotify, but I notice they limit the sound quality via bluetooth. do you preamp? talk to me goose.

One little bear is a brand name not nick name ...lots of douk audio products are in calibration with little bear... The problem with these is it's another thing in the signal path .

Love the 7-channel EQ and that it has balanced XLR IN AND OUT!! So many preamps just have XKR IN or OUT only, no idea why?? I wish they made a version of this EQ without the tubes. Tubes are fun, but sometimes we don't want tubes. Also an EQ bypass switch like they have on the Douk Audio EQ5 PRO 5-Band EQ. Agree that they could eliminate the volume control, or have a volume control bypass switch for those that don't require it.
