Struggling to adjust size to be same end depth but just one inch longer in length. Do I just add 1 inch to each measurement on the patter?
@Sewspire2 күн бұрын
No, it’s going to be less than that because there are two ends. You will need to make a prototype and adjust as needed. Take good notes and it should come together for you.

I loved making the larger bag, a few years ago. The only thing, I wish it had pockets. I made several to sell at my craft show. They didn't sell at my shows. I've been using them as gifts. I like this smaller version with pockets. Thanks for sharing.

Yes you can! Pellon 808, 70, or fusible fleece are good alternatives.

Will the side pockets hold a water bottle?
@Sewspire8 күн бұрын
No, you will need a bag with independent side panels for that feature. Have a look at my ultimate diaper bag. It’s a versatile design and definitely doesn’t have to be for a mama!

Cute bag Andrea. I am making one now. It looks like you interfaced the base panels? Any other pieces? (Not talking about the fusivle fleece) See you all Tuesday! - Susan

Hi Andrea! If you use a ready to go zipper, not zipper by the yard, would you just use a 15 inch zipper? And not use the little tabs?
@Sewspire12 күн бұрын
Yes you can do that too! Or, an 18” and add tabs and trim the zipper excess.

Thank you for a wonderful pattern. I love watching you work and admire what you do so much. Have some patchwork panels ready with recycled jeans for base panels and handles to make up using your method to raise funds for St Margaret’s Trust in Durham England. This video was perfect timing as I was dithering about how to sew them up and now I know what to do.

I had a large bag of scraps, small cut offs, and in a time recently when it was imperative that I reorganize, I made the decision to toss. The bag had been moved and shifted and I decided everything went in, but nothing came out, I won’t refer to it as trash, but that’s where it landed🙁

I was admiring your room and your work station ! I am glad you talked about it at the end of your video. One day we plan on renovating our basement, maybe I can carve out a room to sew and do my craft . I liked the idea of using shelves and table top to make the sewing table for the machine. I also like your desk caddy , using mesh pockets. I am putting it on my project list . Thanks 🙏🏻 for Great video.

Thank you 🙏 I am excited for you to make the caddy! Let me know how it turns out.
