There are men out there like him :) Heck I am a 34 year old guy, sitting here enjoying the proposal videos. :) Some of us men were raised the right way, where showing our romantic and loving side isn't a sign of weakness. You can still be a man, and not always feel like you have to put up a macho front.

She did know, the point was that they both knew they wanted to get married when they first met, so they agreed to make the letters to 'prove' it. She just didn't know what was happening with the last one.
