Do you have a 2-bike version of the same rack for regular mountain bikes, swing out, also for the Grenadier?

This is the only two bike rack we have, it will work with E bikes, road bikes, Mountain bikes, cruisers, and what ever other two wheels you got. The 3 pack is the next size and its a little larger, but will work with Swinger. Note that the receiver on this vehicle was very tight to the point we had to take the paint off of the the hitch portion of the swinger to get it to plug in. It seemed there was a lot of over spray in the receiver.

All replacement parts are under spare section of the shop. If you can bend it back and it has no cracks in the welds, you can continue to use it.

Is this fairly easy to install and remove? Or is the idea that one would install it on the rack and leave it? Does this make it difficult to access the vehicle from the back hatch (because the table prevents the person from being able to step close to their vehicle)?

Super easy to install, remove the current internal stabilizer, insert new stabilizer and GPP stiffner. attach GPP side plates with two bolt, attach GPP platform, then the tray. the tray is only 24 inches wide and 12 inches deep. we have not tested it with every vehicle but the rear hatch doors should not be interfered with based on the low design.

When do you recommend tie down straps? I've been using the 2021 gen rack with 5 analog bikes without the tie down straps with no problem. Those have all been on road miles.

Rough roads, offroading, long distance travel. the strap sync the rack to suspension and body of the vehicle. Which helps with overall driving, suspension loading and quick move when you need it. They also reduce vibration at the basket level. We run our straps all the time.

Any bike up to 300 pounds, the arms are adjustable for different wheel bases and the tire spacers setup the perfect width for the front tire.

What is needed to carry two tadpole recumbent trikes? Do I just be sure two order appropriate sized wheel baskets (assuming two for each trike) or is there more to it?

For trikes, we need full length of the trike, distance between the front wheels, how many trikes, and weight. exact model would help. Send us this in email and we can get you a exact setup for what you need.

Are the HD baskets any different in size, or are they just a thicker gauge of steel?

The HD baskets have a higher gusseting built in with more welding to stiffen the baskets , with least amount of weight increase. They will follow the same sizing as the current baskets.

What does this do? My vertical bar has a bit of front to back play. I don’t know how to eliminate it. Would this help?

The play that you are describing, can be eliminated by tightening the pivot bolt and then setting the correct tension with the tension bolt. There is video for torquing your rack. The bushing system will make the over all side to side flex tighter and stiffen the rack out.

Yes, on days that the roads are not dry, the horizontal carrier does not get any though. The Snow bucket is little better.

I'm really interested in this product! I'm hoping this prevents the salt kick up from the road onto the gear on slushier days so would love to hear how that handles. I'd also love to see the bottom bike bar combined with the bottom snow box (snow box on car facing side and bike bar on the bike facing side so I don't have to worry about swapping the two every season. If that's a possibility then an optional, detachable lid for the box too in the summer so I can put other bike related items in the box while traveling in the summer. Question: with that exact setup would someone still need to replace the top bike bar with the roof rack adapter or could we just use the existing top bar? Maybe it's too fat to hold roof rack mounted items?

I think we need to just make box that goes there, the salt kick up is defiantly a concern. Or maybe a backing plate to prevent the spray. running it between the vehicle and the rack, has helped reduce the overall spray. Will keep experimenting.
