Coolant fluid changed for the first time since brand new in motorcycle and I've found white milky dirt under the radiator cap. Nothing to worry about or?

If it's just a tiny bit than it can be some sort of external contamination. But if it's thick and mixed evenly with coolant than it can be the cylinder head or water pump gasket....

@@85cactus I had to add little bit of different coolant 2 seasons ago, because when motorcycle was new & before 1st dealer warranty service, the coolant reservoir was almost empty. If it's really water pumo gasket I guess it's not that bad, but still going to cost...

There are OAT, IAT and HOAT types of coolants. If you've accidentally mixed two different types than you've just resolved the mystery yourself. If it just a bit of that milky substance than I'd flush the cooling system with destilated water, drain it and use the appropriate coolant (manufacturers recommend) and simply check it a couple of times for first 1000 miles. (Or maybe over the longer milage). If everything is good than there's no point in being worried. On the other hand if it goes milky than the test on the video can give you an answer if it's cylinder head gasket or water pump.... I don't know what part of the planet you're living in or what's the actual bike you're riding but I'd be guessing that both shouldn't cost you a fortune. If it's a head gasket than pay plenty of attention for torque values when refitting the head....

@@85cactus StreetTriple 765 from 2020, so it's quite expensive bike & parts :( Coolant which I've added can be mixed with different, but that can be a lie - who knows. Now it's winter & snowy so going to wait for better weather, ride maybe like 60-120 miles and check once again what's under the radiator cap and change once again coolant.

Have an akrapovic on my ‘01 and can tell you that if you chop 8” off that yosh you’ll never regret it. Not a ton louder but it’s glorious now.

I may give it a try over winter. I couldn't find any acrapovic bolt on cans otherwise I would've gone for it...

Just to add that the bike is waiting on carbs rebuild and service. That's why it runs so rough at the moment.
