Hi man, I'm just torn between a ZCAM S6 or a Lumix S5 IIx (for 2x the Zcam price)... to shoot anamorphic short films and small run n gun doc projects. I'm afraid it's too late to jump into the ZCAM wagon... ?

I’ve just shot a Critters short on it full Anamorphic, and about to shot Pinocchio Unleashed!!!! It’s amazing quality is Hollywood standard! Batteries last all day ! It’s a dream to use zcam all the way !!!

Like early black magic camera like 2.5k cinema camera and red one and mx they really did amazing colour science as close to film as possible but then both companies focused on 5k 8 k 12 k ect and now its all digital looking MX is gem of camera

Didn't work though in the Hulk TV series. The Duel movie itself was far better, why they ripped off scenes from Duel is a bit dumb.

Wasn't a rip off, they reused film to save money. I think I read somewhere that the Hulk was one of the cheapest TV shows to make because they reused so much footage.

it eats light big time i do have a video coming soon talking about a feature film we shot over 10 days using this camera , you def need to light scenes properly and if u do its stunning , out doors day time its amazing

I found a guy selling his Ursa 4k EF Mount for a $1000. I have the BMCC 2.5k EF Mount already, what do you think? Besides resolution, do you prefer BMCC 2.5k image quality over the URSA?

The Ursa is a full frame 35mm sensor and quality wise far more superior than the bmcc , but it weighs an absolute tone rigging and tripods are going to be a big expense as this camera can’t be used with a cheep tripod , if u can get past the kinks then yes but £1000 is a bit steep in price as it’s a very old camera

Just to add I would not pay more than $800 only because it’s going to probably cost another $800 to get it film ready remember what ever cinema camera u buy doubles the cost for running it properly
