The portrayal of Yasuke, the historical black samurai, as a celebrated and highly respected figure seems exaggerated. My own research suggests that Yasuke, while unique in his time, was more of an outsider-viewed as an "exotic" curiosity rather than an equal. He likely held a role closer to that of an unusual retainer or even a court entertainer rather than a fully integrated samurai warrior. Creating a game centered around this romanticized image of him comes across as disrespectful not only to Japanese/Asian history but also to Yasuke's story, bellitleing the racism he might have endured. And adding hiphop beats to when Yasuke fights is just the cherry on top. It's insane bruh🤣🤣😹it feels like a poorly executed attempt to tick modern boxes without really honoring either Asian or African heritage.

Ubisoft can still opt. to use 'The YASUKE STORY as DLC for the near future of AC SHADOWS How hard would it be to imagine or create a 'What-if story' about an African slave brought within Japan under ODA's CAMP who was then later instructed to run away N survive an enemy attack upon his Owner! (ODA NOBUNAGA).. that way to explain why YASUKE is donning 'Samurai Armor.. simply put He stole/borrowed it in order to have a fare chance at survival during the attacks of feudal Japan.. Now according to the actual tales.. YASUKE was eventually caught and Not permitted to a 'True Samurai Death - where he was then exiled n sold back to Jesuit Traders.. That alone sounds like a plot n setting and not to forget the NAOE aspect of the Game when they cross paths.. End quote.. there is nothing wrong with switching back to a Japanese Male Protagonist to go along with NAOE.. however after all the anticipation for 'The YASUKE STORY - I feel that it would Only Be Right IF Ubisoft chooses to include 'The Whole YASUKE STORY as a later DLC for those of us Who actually found the concept to be interesting before all the fuss

Sorry to say but in Endymion's new video, "Ubisoft Insiders EXPOSE Massive Proxy War + Assassin's Creed Shadows Designed to FAIL on Purpose?!" Yasuke was used as a pawn to lower Ubisoft stocks in order to buy the company easily. Originally Assassin's Creed Shadows was supposed to be a Japanese Male Assassin and not Yasuke the Black Samurai or even Naoe. Want to know more watch the video!

The way he pronounces Ubisoft is actually correct. In Latin, "Ubi" is pronounced Ubi, not "yoube" and it means "where". Therefore, Ubisoft is a play on words that basically means Software.

I guess because little is known of his story, they filled in the blanks with that story. I think a lot of people forget that AC isn't 100% non fiction. It is still a game that tells a story at the end of the day you know
