That's right. As long as we have a rope we can go anywhere, up, down, left or right! In Japan I windows cleaning using rope access, and I use harnesses made by Singing Rock.

Some like 10,5mm ropes, some prefer 11mm ropes (and other diameters are also used). Let everyone choose what suits them. The LOCKER gear is for those who work with 11mm ropes.

The rescued person is lowered using the Munter hitch at the anchor point (mentioned at 2:28 and clearly visible at 3:15), which has high friction.

1:45 Shouldn't the rings be reversed? With such setup, as shown, load on the stitching threads seems to be much higher, as they don't work together in the lower part of the black sling.
@singingrock_official
@singingrock_official 4 ай бұрын
Well, @Dangur2, we've watched the video now after years and it looks like you're right, there's a mistake. The sling with the rings should be backwards. But the rest of the video instructions are generally correct. Just to add, in the case of the wrong orientation of that sling with the rings, the first sewing is under increased tension only when tightening. Afterwards, when using the slackline, the sling is already loaded normally. But that doesn't change the fact that there is an error in the video. We're surprised that no one has noticed it until now. Point for you! We'll add a note to the video. Thanks for letting us know. 🙏

Hello, I bought it from Japan. By the way, if I want to do Australian rappelling, should I attach a carabiner to the ring on my back? I think it's okay as long as I read the manual.
@singingrock_official
@singingrock_official 9 ай бұрын
Hello, the TACTIC MASTER harness is not intended for Australian rappelling. The rear ring serves for increased mobility of the harness and possibly for work positioning.

Hey guys! @ questions for ya. Are there any videos or documentation of how strong the swivel on the 360 is? Which route are they doing in the video. It looks really fun! Cant wait to pick up our sets!
@singingrock_official
@singingrock_official 9 ай бұрын
Hello. We do not specify the strength of the standalone swivel, as it is part of the system. The whole via ferrata set has a declared minimum strength of 12 kN. The route they are doing in the video is "Lehner Wasserfall". It is in Ötztal, Austria. We wish you a lot of fun on via ferratas 🤘😉

@@singingrock_official what is the difference between this phario palm and the phario slide please?in what is it better as it is more expensive?thxxx I'm struggling what model to buy between these two models! One more question, can I use the Top Canyon harness for via ferrata too?
@singingrock_official
@singingrock_official 4 ай бұрын
@@z0Olander Hi, you texted us on messenger, too, right? Well, but we don't want to leave it unanswered here on KZbin... The difference is the carabiners. The older PHARIO SLIDE has carabiners with a sliding lock that needs to be moved by fingers to open the carabiner. All current PHARIO models have PALM carabiners. To open them, just squeeze them between your palm and fingers (this opens the double action lock). So, handling palm carabiners is faster and more convenient. Sets with palm carabiners cost more than those with slide carabiners, but are much more pleasant to use. And, you can use the TOP CANYON harness on via ferrata, just better to take off the sit protector for better ventilation ;-)

I'd like to ask for the intended way of attaching chest ascender to TACTIC MASTER harness. Picture in catalogue sheet PDF on website show chest ascender mounted on a different harness. I found what I think are CAM CLEAN STRAP attachement loops on the part with the instructions. Should chest ascender connect directly to RINGO?
@singingrock_official
@singingrock_official Жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right. On TACTIC MASTER, the CAM CLEAN chest ascender attaches directly to the RINGO openable ring. So, in this case it's more like a "belly ascender". It works perfectly.

A .. Vaše výmluvy, že to tak dělají i u Petzlů a Black Diamondů pro mě na celé věci nic nemění.

I love Singing Rock and I use a lot of their stuff both for climbing and for work but I don't think I ever buy a pair of their crampons even tho they fixed the adjusting thing that always broke. I and some of my friends could be dead if it broke a at a different time. There are people living the rest of their life with the consequences of a broken Singing Rock crampon that has a faulty design and you can still buy it at retailers. With all that said I still trust their other equipment, 80% of my working equipment is Singing Rock and almost all my climbing biners and slings are made by them and one of my favorite tools is the Bandit (which was my firs tool ever).

@singingrock_official 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Áron. The third generation of the Lucifer crampons came with more improvements. Among them, the design was changed in order to achieve higher endurance and longer service life. However, all crampon manufacturers will confirm that it also depends on what shoes you use. We write about it in more detail in the article on our website www.singingrock.com/lucifer-3-and-fakir-3-crampons
