Sir, this is a Wendy‘s! I recommend using a search engine to find a font shop of your choice that offers Bageo, which is not a free font.

Nice walkthrough. Everyone needs to follow these discipline… I wasted a lot of time redoing things thinking each time its one off and I wont reuse anything, however i had chances to save a lot of time by reusing or organising.

I think that maybe they will develop the dev mode, thus besides AI and community marketplace we will get new handoff features as well… but we will see :)

I'd recommend CAT Fonts too, made by Peter Wiegel. And I'd like to ask if anybody knows if Dieter Stefmann's fonts are actually SIL because he left a testament in 1001fonts and his blog about releasing them for free to use but none come with the license.

I really wish the League of Moveable Type would put out more fonts, and add bolder and bolder italic weights for some o their classics. I am not sure who designed Libre Baskerville and Libre Caslon, and Old Standard TT, but I sure wish they had bold italics and extra bold and extra bold italics with them. -- And I wish there was a libra version of Goudy old style, book, bold and extra bold weights with matching italics for all. Fanwood would be wonderful with bold and bold italics, and maybe extra bold and italics.

I wish someone would do a libra version of Cooper Old Style with Cooper Black, so we had at least book, semibold, bold, and black weights. There is a nice large x-height commercial version from Bitstream and a nice small x-height version (but without italics for the black heavy / extra bold weight, a pity, from URW. I think both only have the less complete P1 character set rather than a Pro character set .he font-family is soft, warm, very appealing, and would make a good book or display typeface, either one.

As prepress engineer with 5+ year experience with "bad" pdf's i laugh my ass off about this. You can't see proper colors in figma. Can't use color profiles. Don't use any other web apps for printing too. Please. Your pdf's out of this application clunky/big/unoptimised. But for casual use sure.

Hey Johannes, thanks for the video! When printing poster etc. with an asset of UI, it is challenging with small details, color issues happens. Do you have a suggestion for converting Figma file to InDesign/illustrator to print in the best way? Thank you!

What about actual printing? I've heard Figma doesn't have CYMK capability or something? So is there a noticeable difference in printing Figma exported PDF vs Word/Indesign exported PDF? Otherwise, thanks for plugin suggestions!

As a Digital Print Technician working at a University in London, Figma is awful and should not be used to create graphics for print. The PDF's created are not suitable for print production and in 99.9% of cases where a student has used this software to create a file it will crash print production tools. The PDF files are incompatible with the Fiery Command Workstation that is attached to Digital Presses and used to impose files. I have issued warnings to academic staff and students about using this software. Just use indesign if you are a graphic designer.

While I really enjoy Figma (and used to use AI, FH et al) I'd really suggest looking at VectorStyler for the most (to me) complete vector / shape creation and modification tools.
