If you have the whole subframe removed like that, you do not need any special tools. You can just burn it out. Pointless video.

I made a similar puller but it kept slipping. those bushings have a .015" press and were in there TIGHT. They had to be cut out.

excellent video. if you can't get the spring into position on the motor, you can rotate the camshaft so that it fits.

until you need to replace the spring, you don't need to remove those 4 spring bolts,. after remove the vanos, then push the 8 springs to the side to touch the camshaft,you can just remove the housing bolts, to remove everything out, do this so you don't need to do so many bolts and use any tools.
