Gene Puerling is the backbone of my ears. So much of what I learned as a child about music started with Gene and the Hi-Los. I was fortunate to speak to him on the phone a number of times and I treasure those moments when we talked about Through The Years. I don't know how many times I've listened to this but I cry every time and I'm so thankful for this song, the sensitivity of the lyrics and of course, the arrangement. Thank you guys
