Of course! That flame logo is a separate piece so there is a small gap between the body of the guitar and the logo, as well as the body of the guitar and the chrome around the hole. The blade fits in those gaps, so I’m not cutting the guitar or the accent pieces. 👍🏻

Sorry about that. I didn’t do another video because it’s done the exact same way. The only difference is I believe there is one more screw in the bottom of the door panel. Hope that helps!

I have a quick question for you, when installing the handle again do you press it flat all the way back in or leave some space while tighten again? Please and thank you

@@gaspck when installing the handle won’t be flat but if you apply gentle pressure toward the door and tighten the screw the handle will pull back into place!

Is it possible to wrap electric guitar seamlessly? Where can I find this vinyl?

@@ВладимирКокозиди seamlessly? No. I’ve wrapped a few electric guitars, including my personal ones. The best way I have found to do it is to wrap the front to halfway around the edge, wrap the back to the exact same spot then put a half inch piece over the top of the seam. You’ll want to figure out where your arm rubs the edge and avoid putting the overlap piece there. If you live in the US then I would suggest metrorestyling.com. I’m not sure where to buy if you’re outside of the US.

Just curious, the back of the cab does not get wrapped in this scenario?

@@customrestorations in this scenario this is a black pickup used by our local sheriffs. They leave the roof black and just want it wrapped around that back edge. The back of the cab and the front of the bed do not get wrapped. I would say they typically don’t get wrapped anyway unless a customer wants the vehicle taken apart to have it wrapped.

What size was the hood wrap??

@@Bustdownbaby74 I unfortunately don’t remember. I wrapped that in April of 2023. If I had to guess it was probably around 72” long and 50” wide. So 2 yards of wrap material

Is re-install just putting it back in and screwing or is there something else you might need to do. Thinking about ordering chrome door handles for my duramax.

@@alexmartinez2268 yes, but I found it best to make sure the screw is loosened about as far as it will go before re-install. Just make sure the handle is sitting all the way in.

Sorry. I didn’t make one. I can film it on the next Tahoe wrap I do though. As long as you make sure that set screw is all the way back, all you will need to do is insert the handle then tighten the screw while applying light pressure on the handle and it will set back into place once the screw is tight enough.

What about the handle lights and touch sensor to unlock?

If the handle has light, then I would wrap around them. As far as sensors goes, all of the handles that I’ve wrapped have textured plastic where the sensors are which wouldn’t get wrapped. I don’t believe vinyl is thick enough to mess with sensors unless you’re using chrome.

One of the four didn't get pulled back in when I tightened the screw so I had to use a pick tool to pull the lever back out and loosen the screw to try again. It went back in easy on the second attempt.

Sure, but it wasn’t worth the risk for me. With all of the directions that part of the tundra goes, I felt it was much safer and much more secure to avoid the risk of over stretching by doing it in two pieces. Also with the end result hiding the overlap on those two body lines I’d say everyone is a winner. That customer can’t see the overlap and that car will never come back to my shop for a warranty. At the end of the day I’d rather have a happy customer by putting out a solid install with a high success rate than be a one piece hero.

3 technically if you count the inlay under the brake light. I felt with the amount of contours this spoiler had it was much safer to use multiple pieces!
